These are my new workspace neighbors. If you are in DHA lahore. You know a new hip store was being built that promised "fresh & healthy" goods. We were excited to have a place for clean food and they go up and cut off all the trees in their plot. Their plot was one of the few ones that had trees. On one hand there is khaadi making seedbags and people pushing for plantation drive on 14th, here is @naturalspk
opening on 10th august, balding off 3-4 trees and stocked to brim with same old packed goods. I dont plan on ever going in naturals anymore. I hope people who read this will share so big brands can be held responsible for their shitty anti environment actions
So this new place opens up in #dha #phase4
which is named naturals and has green leaves in their logo. But yesterday the trees in front of it were cut down, while it was being done we asked what and why are you doing this. The answer was : “itne paisay lagayen hain naam dkhana hai darakhto se naam chup raha hai” or in English: “we spent a lot of money on the brand and the trees are hiding the name written on the building”. Such irony. You name your brand naturals, you put leaves in your logo and your slogan is fresh and healthy. When you go inside the building as shown in pic 2 they have portrayed like greenery and nature is their thing. But outside the building they cut a tree just because it hides their brand name on the building. Shameful.
