THOUGHTS FOR TODAY:
Paul has been teaching: "God is for us; He doesn't condemn; and He will give us every good thing because He has already given us Jesus." Then we come to these troubling verses as Paul begins to discuss some very unpopular subjects in modern Christianity: trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger, and the sword (all of which Paul experienced). One might ask the question: "If God has all this good in store for us, then why do we have to experience the rest?" The answer is found in verse 36 of our passage today (which is a quote from Psalm 44:22): "Yet for your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." Take a moment to visualize sheep -- defenseless, easily separated from the herd and slaughtered. Many Christians have forgotten that our example is Jesus, the Lamb of God (John 1:29): "The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, 'Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!'" Instead we come out confrontationally when attacked -- flexing our muscles physically, politically, and socially. But our imagery is all wrong. We are to be considered sheep.
Who is it that considers us as sheep to be slaughtered? I believe it is the attitude and purpose of a satanic world system to slaughter Christians in general. The history of the Church has many examples of the high cost to life and property as a result of following Jesus. Remember what Jesus said in John 15:18: "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first." QUESTIONS TO PONDER:
It is certainly disturbing to read and hear about the many tragedies that have fallen upon our Christian brothers and sisters -- even in our present day. However, there is one thing we know: Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ! No matter what we're going through -- nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. Pause for a moment now and thank the Lord for His peace even in turbulent times.
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

how to stand out? Magic doesn’t only happen to others - here are 5 things I learned to be my own hero and reach my goals 🥳 (which was to work for a global sports or fashion brand HQ one day - turned out both btw 💜)
💡 you cannot expect people to trust you if you dont trust yourself first - as well as you cannot be loved by someone if you dont learn to love yourself
💡 visualise what you want - always thinking “it will never happen” makes actually things not happening. I used to do this to avoid expectations and disappointment but positivity brings positivity
💡stay daily tuned to what makes you alive (I use social medias a lot but I’ll do a post about exciting ways to learn) and learn everyday a little bit more about it: it feeds your creativity and gives you weapons to be ahead of the others/to be proactive. As well as making you always someone nice to discuss with ☺️
💡 do you - do things your way always. nobody wants to be a pale copy of someone else
💡 dont be afraid to try and fail - easy one to say but definitely not to do so 😅 but it shows how entrepreneur you can be and that you can have a plan and deal with it. dont forget to start small, start by enjoying the process and then success will come by itself - works also for fitness journeys

Failure is the opportunity to begin again, more intelligently.⠀
We need to be able to see failure as opportunity. As children we fail over and over again when we learn how to speak or how to walk, but that doesn't stop any of us from relentlessly continuing to try and try again until eventually we finally get it.⠀
Somewhere along the line many of us has learned that failure is somehow bad. That if we fail, we're somehow defective as an individual, that we're no good at anything. But the truth is, this attitude towards failure isn't natural. We've picked it up some time between childhood and adulthood. We're not meant to see failure as a hit to our worth as individuals. We're meant to see failure as opportunity to learn, to get better.⠀
When we stop taking our failures personally, we allow ourselves space to grow - we allow ourselves the opportunity to reevaluate what we've done and try again, with a better plan.⠀
And the truth is, there is no success without failure it's impossible to get better at anything without first having failed over and over again.⠀
Imagine what would've happened to you if you stopped trying at the first sign of frustration when you were learning how to walk? Somehow when we were children, we instinctively knew that quitting wasn't an option. It shouldn't be when we are adults as well.⠀
If you're in pursuit of a goal, make a commitment to yourself that failure is not an option. Don't allow yourself to quit at the first sign of frustration. The only way to know whether or not you'll get to where you want to go, is if you make the commitment to get there.⠀
Dear little Pippin. 😍 He is such a spoiled little dog. ☺️ he gets human food off the table and belly rubs during the afternoon. 🐶 He’s never outside for more than five minutes 🌨 and he sleeps in the sunlight patches on the carpet. ☀️ He doesn’t like when Elias has control of the leash or when Elias decides to lock him in certain rooms of the house with makeshift gates. 😂 But he loves living here and we love our little Pippin doggie. ❤️❤️❤️

Happy Thursday day friends!! I’ve felt so overwhelmed this entire week 🙈 I feel like I want to do so much everyday and there’s just not enough time, and sometimes I feel frustrated by that. I think I’m going to start waking up an hour earlier to take sometime to myself, to drink hot tea, clear my mind and get ready for the day!! I still haven’t started using my planner 😬 Do you use one? I feel it will definitely help with organization, I’ve just never used one and don’t know where to start to plan out my day 🙈 I am determined to today! My goal this year is to be more efficient with how I use my time through out the day 🙌🏻#timeisnow#americaneagle#blackdress#toryburchmillers http://liketk.it/2A3Y4 #email@example.com#LTKunder50#LTKsalealert#LTKshoecrush#LTKunder100#LTKstyletip#LTKitbag
