This little night owl is my main reason that I have committed to making the time for myself almost everyday!
I'd say everyday but let's face it...there have been missed days, some due to illness, others because I was tired, and even others because I just really didn't want to. And there will be more missed days in the future and that's okay! That's life!
But as long as you keep trying your hardest to show up everyday when you can that's what counts!
It's not always easy to find the time and really I don't have the time. Who does? I have so many other things that need to get done so I MAKE the time!
To me that means skipping a tv show or skipping doing the dishes and cleaning up around the house. The tv show can wait, it's not helping me reach my goals. The dishes and house can be put on hold. Really I'm the only one that freaks out about the way it looks anyways. Hubs and kiddo just need love and food and they are good to go ❤
So I make the time for myself!
Because I need it!
My body and my soul needs it!
Even though sometimes I may have Finn next to me when I'm working out its still a time when I'm focusing on myself and my goals.
It's just what I need too to let go of any stress and anxiety.
And the endorphin rush at the end is just what I need! It gives me that extra burst of energy to last throughout the rest of the night and be a silly/happy mom all the way up until he goes to sleep sometimes after midnight. 😵

[Early Morning Hiking] As I mentioned in the post before, I have had serious eating disorder for years... I’ve been trying to change my lifestyle in the past month and so far I’m proud with the process. My first step is force myself not to check my weight for at least three times a day like I used to, in the mean time drink as much water as I should (I used to not to drink water unless I’m really thirty because I believe water gets me fat as well lol but since I don’t weight myself that often anymore I won’t stress myself out by the “fake water weight”). Warm water helps to raise your metabolism which is good for weight losing 😉. Second step is to work out around 30-40mns per day. I can literally workout everywhere: home, gym, corridor, park... or like today - on top of a mountain and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful view while I’m working out 😁✌🏼🙌🏼
