Quick story: Guy I'm training went to the doctors, found out he lost 13lbs since his last visit.
Also, his cholesterol is down
Blood sugar levels is down
& his resting heart rate is down.
Asked what he was doing differently: Exercising 3-4x a week & Eating healthy 80% of the time.
Doc said, keep doing what you're doing!

After a chest focused weights session the other day, I decided to have a play before we finished on some tricep work! It was harder than I was expecting but so much fun 🐒 I’m trying to find ways to mix yoga and my training more effectively. To spice up the gym training to focus a little more around my current goals such as being more comfortable upside down! 💃🏻 this was inspired by the gorgeous @catmeffan
who shared a similar but much more beautifully demonstrated gym drill a while ago 😂💪🏻 .
I don’t really like to focus on visual goals, but strength and skill goals. 👊

1min left so to lunge to pistol
1min twisting kick out leopards
1min left side push up
1min left teaching plank
1min deep squat to thrust back controlled push up to (not an ugly poor form burpee)
Repeat 4x .
Tips on Eating Healthy at the Beach ☀️
1️⃣ Eat a BIG breakfast at home, this way, you can ensure that at least one of your meals is on track with your diet. If possible, eat foods that are the most filling.
2️⃣ Pack PROTEIN shakes in a cooler: I either bring a little bag with a serving of protein and a shaker or a pre-made shake that you can buy. I drink a shake before a meal to fill up as much as possible on protein before eating “junk” food.
3️⃣ DRINK lots of water, especially before you eat to help fill you up so you do not continue eating when you’re already full.
4️⃣ PLAN out your meals and “cheats”. For example, pick one “cheat” food that you’d like to eat and stick to it to avoid being overwhelmed by the huge variety of tasty, “junk” food surrounding you. I decided to make my one “cheat” an acai bowl with nutella. Before you travel, it can be wise to look up shops that sell food that is “healthy” for you, so that you’re not so starving that you have to eat the “junk” food that is closest to you.
5️⃣ Be FLEXIBLE and let yourself enjoy a TREAT: going to the beach is a special occasion, at least for me personally, so I am more lenient when it comes to my diet as I want to enjoy myself and try foods that are not as prevalent at home. A few years ago I went to Italy and was so strict with my diet that I never let myself enjoy classic Italian gelato, and wow do I regret it! Now my mentality is one of balance and moderation when I am traveling; it’s okay to try new foods that may not be extremely healthy so as to not miss out on a opportunity to experience a new culture.

Negative motivation can work in order start exercising, that's why January is the busiest time for all gyms... but the sheer will power will run out and here comes February, where you'll naturally find more reasons not to continue rather than keep the exercise going.
