Well, what can I say... I am going to leave my thoughts about the Sully Sticky Fabric for another post (some of you might remember this poor sofa and throw embroidery being washed in a video a while ago), but for now I am proudly presenting my latest finished #instagraminspired
interior!! This room was a project I never though it was going to happen. I have been following its owner, the chic milanese @ubertazambeletti
for such a long time! She is a fashion designer, stylist, consultant, you name it.. So her Instagram feed was nearly always about fashion and her trips around the world, while I was patiently waiting for what I was after 😊 a piece of her home that I could put my hands and thread on!!! Years ago she opened @waitandseemilano
concept store/boutique in Milan of course, where clothes, unusual objects, interesting accessories, jewellery and so on, are a showcase of her unique style. Sometimes I like following her daily stories where you can see her driving through her home city singing or walking down the street with her now iconic straw bag...her energy is infectious, with her glowing smile she can transform a grey rainy morning in London into a constant sunshine!!
That said it is not surprising to see that her living space filled with colourful and comfy cushions and throws while surrounded with fun, quirky objects of decor and art, the impressive chandelier just to mention a few, made this ecclectic room (and of course très chic), quite a fun challenge transforming it into #slowcraft
I am going to leave you now with one of Uberta's favourite quotes "la vita e' bella" 😉
