..As She Falls
Through the fog that consumes.
Arose, in a winter's slumber.
In wait, patient, I the arrival of you.
As I hear her voice upon distant thunder.
I wonder, does she search the skies black velvet.
A descent into the darkness, alone and unafraid.
To seek the light that captures her so, at sunrise and sunset.
Chasing threaded shadows of ghastly hollows, ones like the moon made.
As she falls from it, dew kissed and wet.
Will she see the darkness like me.
The underlying shades of beauty.
The ones that make flowers grow.
Hopes are high, that when she sees me, she'll know.
We lay like whispers, on the waves of the sea
