I won’t see this guy for about a month so we had back to back date nights. Found a new restaurant that has good food, cheap drinks and tons of video games!
Tonight I was reminded how much I love dating this man. He took me out to dinner for my birthday and it was so much fun. At first it felt super weird not having Lennon with us and actually sitting in the front seat of the car together again instead of me in the back. We ended the night laughing hysterically and holding hands just like we used to when we were kids. It was our first time out to dinner together just us since having Lennon almost a year ago and I definitely realized tonight how much I missed it! We love spending everyday with our sweet Lennon but tonight it was fun to be together just the two of us. 💕
New song! 🎸
So exciting news, I’ve recorded a new song and it has gotten a pretty good response, it makes me really happy to know my original music gets accepted so well 😄

Also, I would like to thank @imurjraleigh
for featuring my song on their web radio, it feels great to know it’s worthy of their time & yours as well!.
Head over to my bandcamp to listen to the full track, and to know where I got the inspiration to write it. ☕️ • •

Theater, good for the soul ...
It doesn't matter if you're single or happily in a relationship, it's always a good idea to date yourself.
Take yourself out to dinner, light some candles, go out to a movie, bring some flowers home, make your living space feel special, dress up in clothes that make you feel good, take yourself to a basketball game, read a book in the park, go on a trip alone, buy yourself jewelry...
Too many times we are waiting for someone else to make us happy, when we could be taking control of our own happiness. When you treat yourself well, it sets the standard for how you want other people to treat you. -
It teaches you how to love your own company and that being alone can be a beautiful experience. It teaches you that you don't have to be scared about being lonely because you know that your happiness isn't dependent on another person. It makes your relationships stronger because you stay in them for the right reasons. -
I went through a traumatic breakup years ago and I actually did buy myself a diamond ring. In that moment I decided that I wasn't going to wait for someone else to come along and do the nice things for me that I could be doing for myself. When I did meet people that spoiled me, it was an added bonus. That breakup was also the last time I held on to a relationship for too long because I was too scared to let go. -
You don't have to go crazy like I did, but you should find a way to spoil yourself in a way that makes you feel amazing. Get in the habit of dating yourself and give your future dates some competition!
Looking for a great night out? Were packed full of fun things to do with the family to make dinner a truly amazing experience for you!
