Some mood and drama on some cool badlands in @deathvalleynps
I photographed back in 2014. It was amazing to see all these low clouds clinging to the landscape and kicked off a great start to my first death valley trip. #OurWild #clikelite #prAna
The one shoe wonder... 🤷🏽♀️
We were struggling yesterday as you can tell from the blurred picture and the missing shoe!
Gotta ❤️ Badwater sunsets.
Death Valley National Park is a great road-trip destination. It’s not difficult to get to or to drive through, but planning a trip there requires more than just throwing a few things into the car. It’s a remote desert area with long distances between services. Which route should you take? Will you camp or stay in park lodging? What should you pack?

Photographing sand dunes can be incredibly rewarding. Compositions come and go with the light and your viewpoint into the dune field. Here, late afternoon light illuminates Ibex Dunes in Death Valley National Park.
🏜Death Valley🏜 I’m missing the warmth of the desert this week! It finally got above 40 degrees here yesterday! 👇🏻Tell me your favorite warm place to visit! 👇🏻

I’ve been trying to push my boundaries in post-processing recently, seeing what works and what doesn’t. It’s been a lot of fun transforming images into something out of a dream, and turning the simple act of just taking a photo into a more complex and expressive form of art. I used a daytime photo for this shot and tried my best to be as technically correct in terms of placement and scale of the milky way. Let me know what you think :)
