Excellent team work: David Thulstrup designed the ARV chair originally for the new venue of the Noma restaurant in Copenhagen, for which his studio was asked to create the interior. The production of the chair took on Danish manufacturer Brdr. Krüger, a company with more then 130 years’ experience in crafting furniture – and which included the chair into its permanent collection. The piece is made out of natural or smoked oak and the slender frame is only decorated by a traditional Scandinavian woven paper cord on the seats and back.
Inspired by the modernist architecture of Copenhagen's Langelinie Pavillion, built in 1958 at the waterfront, design duo Anderssen & Voll created for Danish brand &tradition the Pavillion armchair. The piece has a slim steel tube frame, while back and upholstered seat are made out of formpressed walnut. An option in oak is also available.
