Finally had the time to finish this little gem! A box I made for a costumer. Nice piece of live edge walnut for the lid. Tried to get some nice knots in the rest of the pieces. Finished with 600 grit sandpaper and three light coats of danish oil. Instagram decided to shrink my photos so I apologize for not capturing the whole box.
✨SNEAK PEAK ✨
Details, this little lady is small but she has some GORGEOUS details in her. This vintage depression era piece dates back as early as the 1920's -1930's. How cool is that? 🌿
Two of my favorite new tools for making kumiko. Both from @hidatool

I found this gorgeous hanging shelf a few weeks back and all the #artdeco
styled fret work on the sides is in perfect condition!!! Question... I want to possibly paint it but I can't decide what would look best? 🤔
White and Shabby Chic? Glossy Black Art Deco?
Modern Bright Color? Blonde and Natural? .
Maybe I should tag one of my bffs @vintagerevivals
--- she would know what to do 😘
Isn't it the details that matter? Look at this beautiful fret work on this vintage end table! I painted the whole thing tan and then painted the fret work white to make it pop :)
