MY STORY ✨ My health journey has been anything but simple. From being diagnosed with Diabetes in 2016, Anxiety & PTSD in 2018. These are the people who will occasionally eat fruit for breakfast or a salad for lunch and use it to justify eating crappy foods the rest of the time. ___________________ Here’s the Truth ✅ : what you do MOST of the time beats what you do some of the time. ___________________ If you’re controlling your calories and eating nutritious foods the majority of the time, then eating a few slices of pizza won’t hurt, especially if you’re still tracking your calories and making it an “every once in a while” type of thing. ___________________ The same goes for occasionally eating healthy too.... - Simply eating a salad for lunch won’t guarantee you’ll lose weight. If you’re still eating shitty food the rest of the time, there’s a good chance you’ll struggle to take in few enough calories to see significant results. ___________________ My advice ? If it’s Friday night and your friends invite you out for pizza, go out and enjoy yourself. Often times at work you will see me speak to everyone I pass by and hear me crack a few jokes to patients, as I transport them. . But as I was doing my normal routine this morning someone asked me, “Why are you so happy on a Monday morning?”. I simply responded with, “I’m alive”. . What many people do not realize is that sometimes the happiest people have sometimes been through the most hell. Being a survivor means that once upon a time I didn’t want to see another day. So now every time I see a sunrise or a sunset, I am grateful. I am grateful for life and for the opportunity to live another day, regardless if it’s a Monday morning or a Saturday night. . So whenever you get annoyed with that happy person, just sit back and ask yourself, “I wonder what they’ve been through and why are they so happy?”. . . . 💥Weight fluctuations! - 🤯When you first start weighing multiple times per week you will start to realise how much your daily weigh ins can fluctuate! It's so important that you don't let this get to you! It's not uncommon for your weigh ins to fluctuate by 2 to 3 lbs each day! - 👍As you can see by the infograph it would be quite easy for you to get to Friday's weigh in and be like 'this just isn't working'. If you just took into account the Friday and Monday weigh in it would look like you've gained a LB. However as you can see by Sunday the weight is down to 150lbs. - 💪I highly recommend using a weekly average weigh in rather than just looking at it daily. So you would take 7 days worth of weigh ins, add them together and multiply them by 7. This will be your weekly average. Each week then rather than comparing one weigh in per week you will be comparing the current weeks average to the previous weeks average. - 😁This is the method I use with clients and I always emphasise that they don't get too attached to daily weigh ins! MUFFIN CITRON 🍋 . Hello insta, aujourd’hui j’avais envie de muffin au citron, sans beurre et sans sucre raffiné, si j’avais pas utilisé d’œufs, ça aurait même pu être des muffins vegan 🌱 . Je vous laisse la recette si ça vous dit : . 🍃 350 g de farine 🍃 1 sachet de levure 🍃 100 g de sucre de coco . Mélanger tous ses ingrédients ensemble puis dans un autre saladier : . 🍃 2 œufs 🍃 60 g de d’huile de coco (il faut que l’huile soit fondue) 🍃 25 cl de lait de coco . Mélanger ses ingrédients et verser cette préparation dans la première . 🍃 Rajouter le zeste d’un citron non traité 🍃 Le jus de deux citron . Mélanger le tout et verser dans des moules à muffins, puis au four pendant 10-12 minutes à 180 degrés ( le four doit avoir été préchauffé ) . Une fois refroidit, j’ai mis un filet de sirop d’agave et quelque graines de pavot . Olive oil -- in pot Chop and add 1 large onion 2 cloves garlic Add to taste Parsley Thyme Pepper Salt (listed used most to least) Sautee until fragrant and soft Chop and add 1 large potato Half a bunch of celery Half a bunch of green onion Sautee until coated with spices and oil Add 6 teaspoons osem chicken flavour soup and seasoning mix and 6 cups water. I used chicken flavour. Boil until soft, transfer in batches to blender and puree to desired consistency .
