Dieting + events
So shock horror, I haven’t always worked in fitness. I used to do a job where I travelled a lot for work and would eat out more than I ate at home. I also used to attend lots of corporate events and despite it all maintained a pretty lean physique.
So thought I’d share some of my tips to prevent an event becoming a diet derailer:
🍴Eat just before you leave - to prevent getting drunk on one glass of fizz or diving head first into all the canapés (or both)
🍣 Nobody tends to pay much attention to people eating so don’t be afraid to turn down food when it comes your way and it’ll actually give you a better opportunity to talk to people
🥂If you like to have an alcoholic drink at events then do - just factor it in to your weekly calories and stick to the plan and watch out for sneaky top ups!
❌ Don’t stress about food and focus on what you’re there for, if you do feel it’s rude to decline food or you’d like to eat there then do, again just factor it in…
