Hemp is a natural appetite suppressant and can help you feel full longer and reduce sugar cravings. Some experts recommend that adding four tablespoons of the seeds to your breakfast will help curb excess hunger the entire day. This is partly due to the fiber in hemp seeds, which promotes satiety and in turn aids weight loss.
Hemp is great for Digestive Health. It's
high in insoluble and soluble fiber, hemp seeds provide more than enough bulk to keep your gastrointestinal system regular. Additionally, this healthy mixture of roughage feeds the probiotics in your gut and helps secure a robust immune system.
Because of its perfect fatty acid profile of omega-3 fats and GLA, hemp seed helps naturally balance inflammation levels and strengthen the immune system. Hemp seeds are one of the best cancer-fighting foods available. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Some of the key ingredients in building a healthy heart include fiber, plant-based protein, healthy fats and eating less sugar. Hemp seeds help in doing all of those things. Research strongly suggests that hemp seeds can improve cardiovascular health and high blood pressure. Currently learning about the digestive system.
DID YOU KNOW: that the consious awareness of needing to shit happens during the motor part of ur reflex doing defecation?? This happens when ur feces enters the anal canal! 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩
Choosing to eat a smaller portion for your next meal after a massage, helps your body concentrate on healing the muscles rather than digesting the food.
The human digestive system has a unique design that uses mechanical and chemical processes that turn the food a person eats into energy and nutrients the body can use for growth, and cell repair. The process of digestion has many stages in which several organs, tissues and body systems work together to successfully break down large, complex molecules into smaller pieces for the body to use. The human body draws nutrients from food through four main processes: » Ingestion » Digestion
Bacteria are essential to the operation of the human digestive system. Friendly bacteria in the digestive system, live in the gut and enjoy helping your body break down food and protect your body from the bad bacteria that enters the system. Support your digestive system, it’s the only one you’ve got!

❤️ Happy #thrivingthursday
As young as I was five I remember everyone around me had something to say about my body before I could even begin to process what it felt like to actually live in it or form my own opinions about it. And sad to say, my Korean family wasn’t the place to find much validation when it came to physical appearance ( 🤔 not even emotional 🤣 🤣). I learned to cope with the chaos and my negative emotions by going inward—blaming myself for everything wrong that happened thinking that it was my fault people were always upset, and then using food as a visceral form of control. .
I have been on the near-death extreme of being thin as well as the prediabetic side of being overweight and in both scenarios I was miserable and wanted to end my life. That’s how I know for sure, happiness does not come from a number on the scale or from the physical appearance of my body. It took me years to learn, and I’m still learning, that happiness is a choice unattached to what I look like or what I do, and that I get to choose to love myself #nomatterwhat
. Because WHY NOT? If I’ve learned the habit of flagellating myself with self-hate then I can just as easily learn the habit of pouring on the love! .
The picture here is an activity I found on Pinterest a while ago that I loved—naming the parts of my body and giving it thanks. The parts that I struggle to love like my #belly
, I focus on the things that are working out for me in that area like the fact that without a belly I couldn’t eat and that I have a stellar #digestivesystem
What are you grateful for about your body today? Create a love wheel for yourself and share with me:) .

Are you getting enough fibre?
Nutrition experts have warned that low-carb diets may be to blame for a rise in tummy troubles among millennials.
That doesn’t mean you suddenly have to start wolfing down bread, rice, and pasta, if you don’t want to. There is plenty of fibre to be found in fruit and vegetables, you just have to know which ones will help you hit your 30g recommended daily allowance.

How well do you know your GI tract? You're looking at your rectum here. The rectum begins at the end of our large intestine (sigmoid colon) and ends with the anus. The rectum is normally empty, as stool (waste) is stored higher in the descending (end) of our colons. When the descending colon becomes full, stool passes into the rectum, and we have the urge to move our bowels (pass stool). Bowel movements are important to our health!
That leads us to your anus — the opening at the far end of our digestive tract, after the rectum, from which stool leaves our body. The anus is formed partly from the surface layers of the body, like our skin, and partly from our intestine. A muscular ring, the anal sphincter, keeps the anus closed until we have a bowel movement. We also have an internal sphincter, which is an involuntary muscle.

There are so many supplements out in the market now that it’s so hard to know what you should be taking to help you achieve your goals.
Well first off let me start with saying, they are supplements. They should only be used to supplement places where you need help “filling gaps” at no place or time should they take the place of whole food.
I am really good about getting most of my macronutrients through Whole Foods. Where I have a bit more of a struggle is my Micronutrients.
Now I’m not saying I don’t have any veggies or fruit at all, but I do usually eat the same veggies and fruit. Well what is wrong with that?
The issue is that I am limiting the type of micronutrients that I am imputing in my body. Every fruit and veggie is rich in its own nutrients. If I stay with the same ones then i am just getting an abundance of certain nutrients.
This is where I typically use a supplement to aide me in getting all my needs. One of my favorite supplements I take daily, is my opti greens 50.
It has many benefits like.
-Full serving of fruits and veggies.
-Probiotic blend to help build immune system and build a strong digestive system.
-Digestive enzymes to help those of us that get constipated sometimes become regulars.💩
-Helps eliminate bloat and stomach discomfort and much more.
If you are looking around for supplements and are not too sure exactly what would work best for you, reach out to me and we work together on what would be best.
Our priority first will be to fix your eating habits and nutrition, we all know that is what is truly important. From there we will move on to fill in the gaps!
Happy mothafucken Wednesday slide into those DMs if your ready to make a change! #strongbodyacademy
We visited #stonehenge
today on a whim, on the way back from a #family
break away. I like to #wonder
. It fills me up, I feel part of something bigger, a stage in #history
. I hadn’t known about the large number of #burialmounds
around the structure, either, which may well have been its purpose.
It was probably lost, mainly, on the small one but he enjoyed playing #threelittlepigs
in the straw huts of the exhibition. And they both enjoyed making bracelets using #prehistoric
techniques with flax.
After a few #greydays
the sun began to warm through the clouds leaving a beautiful #hazy
light that added to the #magic
I thought a #rockpose
most appropriate, though you can see her my eldest does not seem impressed! #Vrajasana
is so-called for its impact on the #digestivesystem
, supposedly helping to #digest
rocks! Haha, I won’t try, though we picked up some beauties on the #beach

Allergies are on the rise apparently! It’s the food we eat, it’s the air we breathe! Reflexology is great for clearing the sinuses, opening up the lungs which helps shortness of breath and clearer breathing, stimulation of the digestive system including the colon which helps elimination of waste. I always work on the adrenal for anti inflammatory and of course the spine for circulation and to relax the whole body which helps the body to function more efficiently! It may only take one treatment to feel better but if you are treating a condition then regular treatments are advisable! #reflexology #health #balance #digestivesystem #lungs #allergies #footreflexology #adrenal #sinuses
So often we want to focus on the foods we are ingesting. But what about the moments in our lives that we haven't fully chewed, swallowed or digested???
It happens so fast, someone says their name or some song or something happens to remind you of or it...and before you know it you are feeling exactly the way you did the moment it took place. .
Then before you know it, the thought is swept under the rug as if you've finally dealt with it or have moved on and before you know it you have forgotten once again.
Yet because of that moment that happened so long ago...you have never been the same and yet yearn for more depth, more love and acceptance but cannot see how to call that in to their life🧐
What's eating at you? Our solar plexus or 3rd chakra energy point has more organs in its system then any other chakra. It's connected with fire, sun and will power. It also helps us process moments along with other people's energies...
Anyone here have digestive issues🙋🏻♀️? Let's get your power back!
Here are 3 things I've found that has helped me clear the path and create momentum🙏
💫 Forgive anyone that you've not forgiven. It's not hurting them its hurting you.
💫Forgive yourself for anything you've done that makes you feel ashamed or embarrassed. 💫Offer it up and stop talking or thinking bad about yourself or another. It only perpetuates the energy behind and once again it hurts yourself.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Let me know how you resonate 🙇♀️with it😘

Prebiotics and Probiotics: Promoting A Healthy Gut. Video via @KCRGTV9
In recognition of April being Stress Awareness Month, I wanted to highlight the impact stress can have on your gut…
You’ve probably heard of the fight or flight reaction. This is your body’s natural response to stress. During this process, blood flow is diverted to your heart, lungs, and muscles, and away from your digestive system. This is why you feel butterflies in your tummy when you’re stressed or nervous.
However, stress has a bigger impact than just butterflies. It actually prevents the immune system from functions at its best, makes the digestive tract more permeable, and creates conditions that encourage bad bacteria to thrive.
As a result, long-term stress can lead to ongoing digestive problems, sleep problems, low mood, poor complexion, low energy levels, and even cardiovascular issues.
