How do you know when it's time for a break from technology? 🤔
Science is showing that too much time using technology (especially social media) has been linked to mental illness. 😳 The more time someone spends on social media, the more likely they are to feel depressed or anxious. While it is a great way to connect and has so many fun and positive things to offer, it is important to know when to take a break! 👇
Go to the beach with some friends or by yourself, go stand barefoot in your yard so you are connected directly to the earth, meditate, go workout, or just leave the phones/computers/tablets in the drawer for the night! .
There is WAY too much "perfect" being portrayed online these days... so it is important to get grounded, stop the constant comparison, and give your mind a break! DETOX & DECLUTTER: Day 6 - Social/Digital Detox⠀
You can do a Social Detox in various ways - either with your actual social life OR with your social media. Either way, this step is about purging people, posts, etc that cause yuckiness in your life.⠀
1. Try a social media-free week!⠀
A social media cleanse can do wonders for you - both with how you feel and with your free time. Do you know how much time you spend checking for updates and "Likes". If you like how you feel after one week, maybe try enforcing stricter rules about when you're on.⠀
2. Unfollow anyone who doesn't add positive to your life.⠀
If you're going to spend time online, make it a productive and positive experience. Regularly clean out who you're following, and make sure that every account you do subscribe to is actively adding something to help make your life better.⠀
3. Clean out old phone numbers of people you don't talk to, and shouldn't ever again.⠀
This is more about the feeling it will give you to remove these contacts from your life. It will remind you how far you've really come, and will help offer a sense of closure.⠀
4. Get to inbox 0, and keep it there.⠀
Your inbox should function like a "to do" list. What's in there each day should tell you what your tasks are. There's nothing more stressful than thinking you've lost important messages pages back in your account just because you haven't cleaned it out. ⠀
5. Unsubscribe from unnecessary emails and promotional information.⠀
Take a look at each sender in your inbox and ask why are you receiving their emails - if you don't shop there (or if the emails cause you to spend more money), unsubscribe. It will help maintain your inbox, but it will also help to not waste more time or money scrolling for things you don't want or need. ⠀
Use the steps above and see how a Social, or digital, detox feels. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by how much you can release being bogged down by it all.⠀

in Piazza di Spagna in Rome. Cristiana from Estée Lauder introduced me a new formula of their Advance Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex (that’s a long name 😅). So basically it shows up that all the devices which we use (phones, computers etc..) produce “blue light” which makes a lot of harm to the skin. So the formula of this famous already eye treatment has been improved to prevent and cure our skin from the blue light. As I mentioned it is also great for prevention so if You are young (like me 😁) and you use use often different devices (if you read this post for sure you do 😉) you can use it anyway and fight your future wrinkles already now! Why wait 😌 even if the name indicates night use, it can be used also during the day and under the makeup. I am starting my #digitaldetox

We 💗 the internet and how it has opened the world and placed it our finger tips. Without social media we wouldn’t be able to directly connect with most of you. Our sole mission here is to give you the tools to make you feel better from the inside out. Healthy in mind, body, and soul.
And while social media can feel empowering, bring you happiness and connections, it can also shake you, make you doubt yourself, make FOMO a real thing, and basically just be a big bummer. If there are any accounts, people, or brands that make you feel less than the f*cking amazing woman you are, unfollow, delete, or block them. Sometimes a break from it all can be ok too. Sometimes we post mutlitple times a day and other times we miss a few days. *Everyone* is entitled to a break. Sending each one of you a ray of light and love. 💗

Turn a task you do regularly into meditation: Leave your phone in the other room, listen to silence or the sounds of the world (rather than music or a podcast), watch what your hands are doing, and breathe.
The stillness can be unsettling sometimes, but that then is fascinating and full of hints about who and how we are below the commotion. 🧘 💭

Back in town after a little weekend away, basking in the freshness of Swiss air and stepping away from this delightful little app. It wasn’t a ‘digital detox’ per say, as I was still scrolling... but the difference is that I didn’t post for a few days.
Everyone needs to step away from London and the little device in our hand every now and then. The truth is that posting every day is really time consuming for me. I know I can schedule posts, and write a bunch of content weeks in advance.
But honestly, that’s just not how I work best. At least not right now. I like to wake up and let the energies of the day take me, and share what I feel is important to me that day.
Have you ever taken a day off social media? Delete the app. Notice how you feel. How many times did your hand reach for the phone for no apparent reason?
I promise, your account and your following will be there when you come back. Look up and see what inspiration lies in the world around you. Let your senses be enthralled by the beauty surrounding you.
