Old soul, waiting my turn
I know a few things,
but I still got a lot to learn
So I'm alright with a slow burn~
“Year 2030. 12 years from today:
Friends, this color sky is what you will have to get used to explaining to your kids/grand kids when they ask "Why does the sky look dirty, papa/mama?". What has been called a genocidal level of warming is already our inevitable future. The question is how much worse than that it will get.
I'm sitting here questioning "What can I do as one individual?", too. But, I understand that action brings clarity, so here I am, making a post to start a conversation.
I really believe that one of our greatest accomplishments as a race would be to live in perfect balance and harmony with nature, and learn to coexist with nature, while supporting all 7+ billion of us. That means no pollution, no hunger, etc.
I imagine a world where we can look out of the window and are able to smile at the thriving balance we've created. Beautiful blue skies, thriving nature, air that smells incredible and energizes you each time you breathe it in. We'd be able to say "Hell yeah, that's my earth!", and be extremely proud of how well we've figured everything out and how we're taking good care of the place we live. But to create one of the greatest accomplishments of the human race, we have to come together as a race.
I need to start taking full responsibility, as if it depends on me. It would help if you would join me too.”
House on Haunted Hill...so this house..could not believe my eyes when I saw this place. There’s a dirt road that leads up to it kinda to the side.So I drove up to it.You know, trying to get some closer shots but they just didn’t come out the way I wanted. Didn’t stay long. Nope did not go in. I leave that to the real urbexers 👊🏽but as I drove off I thought I saw someone on the top floor near one of the windows on the side. But I figured my mind just playing tricks on me. Yeah..abandoned places right? Haunted? Idk. It definitely looks the part tho. What ch’all think?
