It’s been quite some days now since I’ve been thinking how I’d really enjoy a good hike. Well, fortunately I found myself in Ao Nang, an area that’s great as a starting point for some beautiful islands, but not stellar itself. It does however hide an important place: Dragon’s crest, supposedly the best panoramic view in all Krabi. Didn’t wait to hear this twice, I rented a motorbike first thing in the morning and after a scenic drive up to the national park and quite a decent workout, I found myself on top of a gorgeous jungle mass, overlooking countless krabi limestone cliffs and bluest andaman sea.

Now Discovering the Nusa Penida Island in Indonesia, with @jay_croft.
Nusa Penida is an island southeast of Indonesia's island Bali and a district of Klungkung Regency that includes the neighbouring small island of Nusa Lembongan. The Badung Strait separates the island and Bali. The interior of Nusa Penida is hilly with a maximum altitude of 524 metres. #thediscoverer #nowdiscovering
It’s just one of those places where you can sit and watch the clouds go by. If it wasn’t so expensive to get a ticket in, I would have spent many days in there 😅
Just arrived in bohol, a beautiful island near cebu, amidst a tropical thunderstorm (fun) and just checked the forecast, looks like it will be raining for the next few days (less fun) which means resuming my favourite indoor activities: reading in cafes, practicing yoga in the apartment, cooking food for myself and paying a visit or two to the local gym (more fun than being stuck out in the rain). That's just the reality of travelling full time, it's literally not always sunshine and rainbows and sometimes you are forced to just take it easy for a bit and that's okay ✌️ Photo from last time plans were changed by the rain during the onset of the monsoon season a couple of weeks ago in Bali. Can't really complain about the rain when it becomes an excuse to see places like this, huh? 📸
If you find $10 on the ground, what will you do with it?
