Safety Flash: Back-propping structural design layouts always specify that the main supporting props must be screwed around the perimeter floor edges to prevent props falling over the edge of the high rise floors potentially causing serious injuries to the public and closing the project down.
What about the formwork workers & other trades onsite that are working on each back-prop floor area daily? These people are always at risk of falling props & it’s matter of time before someone is going to get seriously injured onsite. We all know props are falling onsite. The same risk assessment procedures need to be followed in all propping areas.
Let’s protect our workers and subcontractors by preventing serious injuries happening onsite. • High Rise PT construction building • Demolition Projects • Basement Carpark Projects
Don’t take the risk - don’t prop without SAFEPROP.
