SHOULD I COUNT CALORIES?
If your goal is to lose weight then YES! You need to eat less then your body burns so that your body can burn stored fat (aka muffin top and love handles) for energy instead of the food you eat.
For example, you if body burns 2,000 calories a day, you can eat 1,600-1,800 calories a day to lose weight.
If you do this every single day for at least 2 weeks you WILL see the results even if you donât exercise at all.

This was back in March. I was sailing through prep, loving every second of training, and body had started to do the things and definition was starting to make an appearance 👀.
I now haven’t touched a weight in nearly four months.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
I realised yesterday my hands are sans callus’. (💔)⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
I’ve been told I’ll never lift heavy weight again.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
But I’m determined to prove that wrong...
Having the ability to move my body as I wish taken away from me indefinitely has been a toughie. I’m still coming to terms with my situation as it doesn’t seem to have quite sunk in yet.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
It’s looking like, for once, Snelson’s body isn’t just gonna ‘bounce back’. The road to recovery is looking long and oh so confusing tbh 😅...
All I will say though is, oh. my. days. appreciate your body.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀

Having so much time to think - due to the not really being able to move much thing, has been both a positive and a negative I suppose... It’s given me SO much fire to get back to training as soon as humanly possible... But it’s also given me time to overthink the ‘what ifs’.
Do you ever look back on things and wish you’d done things slightly differently? Cause I do now. Nothing major, I’m not about that regret life. But just more REALLY appreciating what you have at the time, in the moment.
(And also not stupidly picking up too heavy barbells when you have minimal body fat and are due a deload 😑).
I look back and there are certainly specific moments I’d like to go back to, and not change, more just live them again with a different mindset.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀

We all want a phat ass, and it’s not something most females would admit, because we are here to deceive you with fake beauty...
But the truth is, I’m pretty sure I have a mild case of lordosis.
I’m standing straight on this photo, not fishing for the extra bubble butt look, yet my lumbar curv seems a bit too big, and my pelvis is visibly tilted forward. Granted, this gives me a bigger looking ass, but also a constant lower belly pooch too.
It doesn’t normally bother me (apart from the fat stomach issue of course), but today I’m in excruciating spinal pain, as an aftermath of doing heavy back squats yesterday.
Resting and stretching should solve the problem, and things should be back to normal within a couple of days 👌🏻

Have such a love hate relationship with leg day but it’s 100% when I push myself hardest.
New pb for reps - 160 for 4
Such a gruelling sessions with 3 calf variations, squats, leg press, leg curl, leg extensions and lunges to finish. I kind of mix the Jordan Peters and Tom Platz methods for training legs at the moment, hard powerful concentric motions and slow eccentrics for machine movements and then heavy as fuck compounds. Got some really good development from doing this. Every set to point of mechanical failure.
