When I hear : I’m going to the restaurant, but I will take a salad, because I take care of my shape...I want to say : It is not because you take a salad that you won’t put on weight !!! On the contrary, many things can make you GAIN weight : the sauce (Caesar, Ranch, etc), the toppings that are more present than real foods, and the quantity. ••• I snapped these two pictures to show you the difference between salads in 2 restaurants. In the First pic : my salad was made of : PROTEINS big slices of chicken, anchovies, and cheese • VEGGIES tomatoes, salad, capers • BREAD croutons.
In the 2nd pic : PROTEINS : 3 slices of smoked salmon, mozzarella • VEGGIES : tomatoes, zucchinis, salad, SAlad, and SALAD again. •
Difference : in one salad, I had all I need for a meal, with only a basis of actual Salad, and in the other one, I had mostly leaves of salad to fill in the bowl, more than actual nourishing foods...This kind of salads let you be hungry 2 hours after eating it, and makes you crave for treats and junk food in the afternoon or during the night...Soooo, CHOOSE your salad carefully, but know that in general there is rarely enough in it to fuel your body correctly, that’s why I prefer to take one as a side as I know it will be low quantities 😅🥗

Look at these orbulent little beauties, teasingly luscious as they lie, waiting for you to dive in. Tear-shaped to mimic the visceral response one has when one gently covers their chorizo, steak, and chicken in these dressings at Hachioji's Peruvian restaurant. A mustard-y warm curried concoction, a fresh, crunchy, biting pesto of sorts like a mouthful of garden, and a fragrant, tangy cream to cut through animal fats. One by one or melodied together, the wonderful staff advise the best to use with each dish. My low-fat cheezy sauce recipe is finally here, & I’m very excited to share it with you. There is another delicious bonus in this post - swipe to watch how I jazzed up simple steamed potatoes, & brought it all to deliciousness!😋 Hope you enjoy this dish as much as my family does.
Low-fat cheezy sauce:
¼ cup Cashews (raw)
¼ cup Filtered water
1 cup Cauliflower (lightly steamed)
2 Garlic cloves (medium size)
1” Ginger knob
3 tbsp Lemon juice (fresh squeezed)
1 tbsp Maple syrup
¼ tsp Himalayan salt
¾ tsp Onion Powder
Add everything to a high-speed blender, & blend to smoothness.

Today was another good day.
I'm feeling stronger & stronger with each day that passes.
These steri-strips still haven't fallen off! They're coming up a little more each day but they seem to get stickier again after I shower.. I really didn't think they would last this long‼
I still have a fair amount of swelling around my vastus medialis & vastus lateralis (quads) but otherwise the swelling seems pretty minimal ✔
I see my physiotherapist tomorrow & I'm praying I get new exercises!! When I saw her last week she told me I had to wait another week before increasing my activity due to the swelling. I hope the swelling is down enough now because I'm so bored with the ones I've been doing for the past 2 weeks - no variation involved 😭
My bruising is stillll pretty dark.... Why doesn't it seem to be going away 🙈

Yogurt ~ tempered saffron, added small dash of turmeric and cardamom
Chutney ~ Coconut flesh, freshly squeezed lime, fresh mint and cilantro - blend/process
Tahini ~ grind sesame seeds (roasted or plain), add oil if need
