Impressions of Cayman Brac 🧜‍♂️🧜‍♀️🛀 Cayman Brac is an island that is part of the Cayman Islands. It lies in the Caribbean Seaabout 145 km (90 mi) north-east of Grand Cayman and 8 km (5.0 mi) east of Little Cayman. It is about 19 km (12 mi) long, with an average width of 2 km (1.2 mi). Its terrain is the most prominent of the three Cayman Islands due to "The Bluff", a limestone outcrop that rises steadily along the length of the island up to 43 m (141 ft) above sea level at the eastern end. The island is named after this prominent feature, as "brac" is a Gaelic name for a bluff. Christopher Columbus sighted Cayman Brac and its sister island, Little Cayman, on 10 May 1503 when his ship was blown off course during a trip between Hispaniola and Panama. He named them "Las Tortugas" because of the many turtles he spotted on the islands. The Cayman Islands were renamed by Sir Francis Drake, who came upon the islands during a voyage in 1586. He used the word "Caymanas", taken from the Carib name for crocodiles after seeing many of the large crocodilians. Many people believe he had only seen the Rock Iguanas that inhabit the island today. During the heyday of piracy, pirates would use Cayman Brac as a haven and a place to replenish their supplies as there are a number of fresh water wells on the island and had many sources of food included in the local flora and fauna. . . . . #caymanbrac #caymanisland #goodmorningpic #dronesdaily #dronespace #drone #dronephotography #djimavicair #dji #dronephoto #dronephotooftheday #dronestagram #droneshot #dronepic #thedronediary   #dronelife #droneaddicts #droneview #silversea #silvercloud #shotondji #dronebois #aerialshot #bee2b   #travelmoments   #wondermore   #travelphotographyoftheday   #makememories   #over60traveler #solo_travellers_over60

My DJI Phantom 4 Pro Obsidian, sat on the peak of Great Orme, 650ft above sea level, on the North Wales coast. Views out across the sea to Ireland as well as the town of Llandudno down below. It's so great to be able to view the land from this height with my own eyes, as opposed to just through the lens of my drone. 😍🤗 . . . . . . . #DJI #phantom4pro #obsidian #dronesunset #droneoftheday #dronedudes #dronebois #dronepics #drone_wales #dronepals #droneshoot #droneglobe #dronelandscape #dronegram #dronesdaily #droneworld #dronescape #dronestagram #droneheroes #droner #dronelife #dronephotooftheday #droneporn #dronepointofview #dronefolio #dronepic #droneaddicts #dronenerds
Have you seen the new @djiglobal Phantom 4RTK? What are your thoughts? We’re firm believers in using drones for many industrial purposes and are super excited to see that DJI is listening to their consumers. 📸@terrasat_uav . . . . . . . . . . . #calgarydrones #yyclife #canadagram #fromwhereidrone #droneview #dronegram #droneaddicts #dronegear #dronespace #dronesdaily #dronemultimedia #dronephotography #aerial #dronefolio #droneshoot #flightography #dronephotooftheday #agriculture #firefighting #searchandrescue #police #oilandgas #fortmac
In the frame is the North Concord Bridge, the site of the shot heard round the world. A gun shot not a photo haha 😅 This bridge is the restored form of the original one, built in 1775. In fact, that bridge was not even the original. The first one was the site of a battle between the local farmers and the invading British forces, who were looking for weapon stockpiles. Now the reconstruction is a national park and open to the public! It's a beautiful area and I'm so glad I could get the drone up! Hope you guys like this one! Let me know if you've been here in the comments! 😊 - - - - - #dronenature #droneglobe #adroneworld #igerslandscapes #dronefeed #amzdronepics #thedronediary #instadroned #shotzfromthesky #dronepals #bridge #dronewise #dronephotooftheday #massachusettsphotographer #dronefeeling #lifeaftergravity #droneguide #skysupply #fromwhereIdrone #droneaddicts #dronelife #drone_countries #dronedose #droneheros #drone #dronepic #dronephoto #djispark #quadcopter #dronefly
