I was beyond exhausted and slept as soon as I got home this afternoon. Thankfully today was the insanity recovery workout which is mainly yoga and strength exercises so I completed it no problem. After 75kg/165lbs 5x5 i felt good so i went for an AMRAP PR at 60kg/134lbs. Got 17 reps, couldn't lock out the last one. Today was a little aggressive. Im fine with that. Mentally preparing myself for school, about to start a new job and still working on my positive mind and optimism. Floating leg dumbell rows! This is just your basic dumbell row elevated to help you work on your balance and stability - which you can tell I’m all about! I recently saw another woman’s post about how the gym wasn’t designed with petite women in mind. Boy was she right! Whether it’s machines not being able to be positioned correctly for our wingspan, short legs, or needing to stand on the seat to reach the bar for lat pull downs, there always seems to be something. . However, she was also right about how dumbbells offer us petite women the same exercises without putting us in compromising, and potentially dangerous, positions.
