Loving the pool mornings! Still don’t actually swim 😅 but very refreshing nonetheless. A breezy, balmy 32 degrees at 6.30am!
It’s a speedy time lapse as I was actually practicing for almost an hour. Making do without props which I find challenging as the body is much more stiff in the morning. Great to be out of my comfort zone however and feeling more connected to the earth.
This practice is very much reminiscent of our Sunday dynamic classes (beginning Sunday 4pm, 10/02). There is just one spot left in this class for term 1! Get in touch if you would like to join us.💚🙏🏼

My brain tells my arm to go to the side ➡️ then suddenly it shoots upwards 🤦🏻♀️ or I’m told to turn to the right ➡️ my body takes me to the left 🤦🏻♀️🤣 Like this fun #yogadrill

Scarlett gained her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Certification in early 2015 at Sampoorna Yoga, India. Making the decision to do so after coming to the realisation that Yoga was fast becoming the most important thing in her life.
Since gaining her qualification she has taught in several studios in and around London, held retreats in Ibiza, and has become a very familiar face on the Yoga scene here in Cardiff.
Last year Scarlett went back to India going on to assist and teach on several Yoga teacher training programmes in both India and Mallorca, Spain.
She is Pregnancy Yoga qualified and cannot wait to connect with students old and new here @pontcannayoga.

"Handstand and Lotus". I tried to press to lotus but couldn't even get off my arms so here's my half-lotus press and attempted lotus handstand. Nearly made it (shout out to @chrisfoxyoga
for the mobility class just before this), but had to give it a miss this time.
I'm not practicing much lotus but it was fun to play with this. Damn hard to control when upside down but it's a really interesting exploring leg positions while inverted - it's a fantastic challenge.
