True love story! Alberta (right) had to have her recycled bag the first time she came to the shop. Colored blue.👏🏼 Then her first batch of Danish friends visited Bali, and brought them here to buy theirs. 😄 Then her second batch of Danish friends (pictured here) visited Bali and guess what...yes, you got that right! And she took another one - for her mom! 😆 All we had to do is show them how to fold it flat in their suitcase. And had good laughs.😂

Ashley, one of my smartest friends, said something I can’t get out of my head. Millennials aren’t trying to make a living off of their art because they are lazy or adverse to working hard ~ it’s that we want our hard work to be towards something meaningful. We came of age during the Great Recession and paired with the increase of automation, student loan debt, and crazy insane rents we as a generation had a bit of a delayed start - but that has only led to creative entrepreneurs! My friends are artists, writers, bloggers, film makers, photographers, creative directors, musicians, and entrepreneurs ~ all trying to live life with passion. Most of them have day jobs, side hustles, and many slashes to their professional title but they are out there doing it! 💪 These are the people I design for. These are the stories I want to tell.

Sooooo excited to share and review the "Honey I Washed My Hair" shampoo bar from lush. I first saw this product in a video a few months back and instantly wanted to try it. Lush has multiple shampoo bars and conditioner bars but this one smells so heavenly i got it. The bar alone cost like $10 and the little case was like $3. But its supposed to last up to 80 washes... im at like 6 so far and it has barely changed size.
Now im not sure how well it works for long hair but for short its great. You just lather it up in your hands or directly on your hair. This bar in particular makes my hair the softest it has ever been and makes it smell like sweet honey. My hair feels a slight bit funny after the initial rinse but once it dries the softness is unbelievable.
On another note its reccomended to have a soap holder to place it on outside the shower as it needs to dry before going back into the tin case.

Haiti is progressively becoming overrun with mountains of waste in the streets because there is absolutely nowhere to put it.
The trash and waste problem in Haiti is an ongoing nightmare for the people living there, with garbage filling the streets. Haiti has few landfills or dumpsters, and there is no apparent place to dispose of its increasing volume of waste.
The smell of the garbage and the poor overall appearance of Haiti have destroyed the economy and led to extreme decreases in tourism. Most disturbingly, a report from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency also predicts that waste-generation rates will more than double over the next 20 years in lower-income countries like Haiti, where trash is already so abundant that people have to climb over or wade through it to get anywhere.
Over 8.8 million tons of plastic are dumped into the oceans every year, and it is estimated that some 85% of the plastic we throw away is not recycled.

Got loose unsalted peanuts from Albert Centre and attempted making peanut butter from scratch - #zerowaste
through and through.
Am still in awe of the ability to purchase what I need. Many times we buy an ingredient in its fixed packaging but only needing a specific amount of it, and by the time we need it again, it would probably be expired. I only needed 300g of peanuts for this and that’s exactly what I bought, leaving with no wastage at all 🙌🏻

« (...) how you can exude who you are is also enhanced or restricted by certain substances. Cotton and silk are best for your system. Particularly raw silk or cotton that is not treated in any way has a certain kind of impact. It is not that if you wear synthetic clothing you will fall dead. You can still meditate and be the same person even if you wear synthetic from top to bottom – but with a little struggle and effort. Seeing the benefits of organic cotton and taking care of the quality of your clothing may not be very practical for lots of people today because they own enough clothes for ten lifetimes. When you want to have two hundred dresses, you end up buying off the shelf. But if you bring this down to a simpler format, if you don’t mind having eight pairs of clothing and managing life within that, you can choose quality over quantity.
It is time more people choose quality over quantity in every sense. Only then can we save this planet. The problem right now is that people have gone for quantity and there is not enough quantity on this planet. But there is quality. If you choose quality over quantity, we can become finer and finer and there is room for all of us. » Sadhguru
