Sent this photo my dad and he said we look like people from Star Trek. Thats the thing about dads... They’re just the worst 🙄.. except my one is my whole life and soul and kidney and lungs and teeth! Love you daddy. P.s. this is NOT my dad. Okay this post just got weird.
Anyhoooo.. Day 4 was back on the open road with the stunning #greatsmokymountains framing our view. Lots of weirdly quirky Southern small towns- recommend Sylva: this is where that depressing ass film #threebillboardsoutsideebbingmissouri was shot. Cannot get more legit than this. Also went for a calm #whitewaterrafting sesh at the #nantahala river. For thrill seekers looking for #rapids beyond 3.5- wouldn’t recommend this as the river is just too meek for my liking!

💭 Photographer Thought: "This photo was taken on Barney's Lake Road, on Beaver Island, Michigan. It is a rustic and unspoiled Island in Lake Michigan. 55 square miles of natural beauty. We have the good fortune of living here year-round (along with 350 other hardy souls). Connecting with nature daily makes me feel alive. It is constant, yet always changing. I love that".

This may be inappropriate but we know some of you will be interested to hear this & we found it inspiring! "Today was a very memorable day. In the last week, I have flown half way round the world and travelled a part of India I'd never done. This whole trip I have carried a part of my parents ashes. As they were the people who not only saved my life but brought me up in this world and gave me the opportunity of growing up in India, I thought there's no better place to bring them than the Taj Mahal which is a place they always wanted to visit. We found a really peaceful garden opposite the Taj (the most romantic building in the world) in which they have been kept together to rest. I'll be taking the remainder of their ashes tomorrow to scatter them in the grounds so they actually make it inside. So happy that they have finally travelled to parts they didn't get to do and that they are resting together in one of the Wonders of the World." 🇮🇳🕌 So if you are asking who is this... It is our little sister, who made a little post of her own and we wanted to share her inspiring words with you! We know there is a lot of you that ask about our younger siblings from reading our book. Some may of met Rosie when she helped us open some of our first stores & pop-ups. She was often working them or you may have spoken to her with a customer service enquiry as she looked after our community too! Rosie had been working for us 2 years but recently set of on a trip to India with a mission of her own and will be moving to Canada to follow her own dreams after contributing to the Gandys journey.
Building our first childrens home was based on the story of our parents telling us about the Taj Mahal, an emperor built in memory of his late Wife so our little sister has actually done something very fitting and equally inspiring. Rosie lives by our Don't Just Exist mentality, the best thing you could possibly inherit from your parents.
