This is the worst the smoke has been this far 😭. Im sad for the people across bc that are having to be evacuated from their homes. Im devastated for all the forest creatures. Im grateful to all those fighting the fires and Im grateful we are safe #forestfiresmoke #bcforestfires #eastkootenays
Same spot but the smoke is so thick here today that you can’t even see the mountains! First shot taken in May last shot this afternoon!
With the smoke in the sky and the lack of beach days lately I'm feeling the imminent change of seasons and am beginning to look forward to changing up the house and garden soon (after just a few more dips in the lake)!
Back to Smoke Free Lake Days 👌🏼
Lately, Ive been playing around with taking photos on an actual camera rather then my boyfriends cell phone. It’s definitely not as easy as everyone makes it look but I’m starting to get the hang of it I think! Having an energetic puppy definitely makes it a bit more of a challenge 😅 and for that reason, here’s a photo of the back of Aspens head because that’s all she would really let us get 🤷🏻♀️ also, how fricken cute and useful is this @ruffwear
backpack?! My heart can’t handle the cute over load! ↟
If you have been affected by an evacuation order or alert due to the wildfires, Just Liquid Sports can offer space to store your watercraft (kayak, SUP, canoe, powerboat). Call the shop to confirm there’s still room and bring your vessels down. Community strong! Stay safe out there everyone.

Can't believe this was a week ago already...Wapiti, you were awesome!
A picture to remember one of the last non post-apocalyptic looking days we had. It’s hard to believe that this picture was taken less than a week ago.
And yes, I built those rock dams because I’m a kid at heart!
