In a hurry this morning so I grabbed this for my commute. 🥚🧀🥜 2 net carbs. I couldn’t eat the egg 🤢 but I’m so weird about pre boiled eggs. The almonds and cheese were AHmazing though!! I’m thinking I’ll make some of my own packs based on this model. 🙌
Getting back on the wagon 2 TIPS.
I am a food addict. When I have had carbs, the drive for more is more than I can handle.
This is day eight of being back on the wagon for me. About 2 weeks ago I had one piece of banana bread. I have no idea why I had it. It seemed like a good idea at the time. It was just a one-time cheat on a very long day but I was otherwise Happy.
It has taken me 7 days to get back on the wagon. Every morning I would try again but by the afternoon I would have my face in the carbs.
FIRST - What helped me last time is an hour-by-hour schedule. Every hour that I didn't binge was crossed off. You can see the chart a few posts ago.
Secondly I had as much keto coffee as I could fit in my gut. Every time I wanted something sweet- keto coffee. Every time I wanted something Savory - keto coffee. Every time I found myself wandering around the kitchen - keto coffee. Every time I wanted something sweet after dinner - keto coffee. Decaf.
I have no idea how much fat I ate during those first few days and I don't care. I didn't binge. And that is a success❤
Now back to regular keto!
Todays Keto Meal: Hamburger Stroganoff Salad.
I sauteed hamburger in gee with a shallot, Braggs 24 herbs seasoning, s&p, turmeric powder, garlic powder, onion powder. When browned added sour cream, heavy cream, fresh basil and parsley to make sauce. I plated it on top of chopped romaine lettuce and garnished with tomatoes and capers. No salad dressing needed.
In another pan i fried up bacon and once crispy sauteed kale in the bacon grease for a side and added the bacon bits to the salad.
I also had a side of a selection pickled veggies to help rebuild my digestion: daikon, ginger, green olives, plums, cucumber, daikon. A side salad of mixed greens with goat cheese and peanut dressing.
🚫 fail: I made the kale too early in the process and the leaves became a bit dried out around edges. Should have made closer to end of main dish being ready so they didn't dry out.

This was probably the BEST prime rib I’ve ever had and I don’t even really like prime rib that much 🤷🏻♀️ || my husband’s cousin brought a giant roast for our family’s D I N N E R last night || I should’ve taken a picture of it but I forgot, but it was the size of a watermelon || the seasoning was on point👆🏻 || i definitely couldn’t get through my slice, but it was amazing 😉 || Happy Monday guys!! It’s Monday and it’s raining. Normally that’s a crappy start to the week but I got up and worked out with my bestie this morning and it turned my frown upside down! I don’t enjoy working out but it’s time to start toning up a bit. My friend and I are challenging ourselves to 30 days of working out. Insanity is our choice of work out and we will be doing it M-F and taking our weekends off. I’m excited to see the results after 30 days. I weighed in today and I’m still at 162.2lbs. On Friday I saw 160 so that was exciting but I’m ok with the no loss. I’m ready to buckle down and say goodbye to these last 10lbs. I’m working out M-F and follow #20totalcarbs

keto peanut butter bars : (choose your fav nut butter)😍⬇️. Ingredients:
Cooking spray, for pan
1 1/2 c. smooth unsweetened peanut butter
1 1/4 c. coconut flour
1/4 c. keto friendly powdered sugar, such as swerve
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Pinch kosher salt
2 c. keto friendly chocolate chips
2 tbsp. coconut oil
1 tbsp. Flaky sea salt, for garnish
Line an 8"-x-8" baking pan with parchment paper and grease with cooking spray. In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, coconut flour, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. Stir until smooth and pour into prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula. Place in freezer for 30 minutes to firm up.
Combine chocolate chips and coconut oil in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth and pourable. Pour chocolate over peanut butter layer and smooth.
Garnish with flaky sea salt and place in freezer to harden, 2 hours or up to overnight.
When ready to serve, remove peanut butter bars from baking dish and cut into squares.
