Honey Garlic Shrimp Stir-Fry🍤🌳😋 @deliciousfoodvideos #eatablesdelights
for 4 servings * 1 lb raw shrimp
* 1 ½ tablespoons garlic, minced
* 2 teaspoons ginger, minced
* ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* ⅓ cup honey
* ⅓ cup soy sauce
* scallion, thinly sliced
* Place shrimp in a sealable bag or medium bowl.
* In a small bowl or measuring cup, mix marinade ingredients.
* Pour half of the marinade on the shrimp. Save the other half for later.
* Let the shrimp marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
* In a medium pan, heat oil. Add shrimp to the pan, but discard the used marinade. Cook shrimp on one side for about a minute, then flip over.
* Pour in remaining marinade and cook until shrimp is cooked through and just firm. Remove the shrimp from the pan and let the marinade reduce.
* Serve the shrimp with sauce and garnish with green onion.

Need an assist in the kitchen with your basketball viewing parties? 🏀Make these one-pan Chili Cheese Klondike® Potatoes! Pop these puppies on the oven a few minutes before the game starts, and they'll be ready for hungry fans to devour in just 30 minutes!
•3 lbs. Klondike Goldust® potatoes, chopped
•1 ½ cup Colby-jack cheese
•2 cups chili, no beans
•2 cups pastrami, cooked, chopped
•2 cups carne asada, cooked, chopped
•¼ cup diced onions
•1 packet taco seasoning mix
•In a large plastic bag, add the cut potatoes and taco seasoning. Shake to coat potatoes with the mixture. Place coated potatoes on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven at 400°F for 30 minutes or until tender.
•Stir together potatoes, chili, pastrami, carne asada, and onions. Place back on cookie sheet, top with cheese and put back in oven until cheese has melted.
As Spring starts to arrive I know you want to use that grill sitting on your back porch...I’m here to tell you that if you are only using it for hamburgers and steak you are missing out!
These fish tacos with homemade flour tortillas are fantastic!
And crazy easy!
For fish (we use tilapia for fish tacos):
Make a little foil pouch or better yet grab a piece of grilling cedarwood from the store.
Sprinkle on cumin, chili powder, cayenne (if you want spicy)a bit of salt/pepper and then squeeze 1-2 lemons all over it and some olive oil.
Throw a handful of cilantro and oregano on top and grill away.
For the shells I use @thecafesucrefarine
“Best Ever Flour Tortillas” recipe (I will add a clickable link on the FB page). If you aren’t making your shells from scratch yet you are missing out.
They put taco night over the edge!
And so ridiculously easy...heck it says to “let the dough rest” before making them and I almost never do because I am a last minute kindof maker 🙈 I literally put the fish on the grill and make the shells at the same time.
Toppings...add all your taco favorites. Mine are always additional lime juice, pickled cabbage (or onions), salsa, cilantro (never enough!), cheese and sour cream.
Yummy! Now that is a fantastic Taco Tuesday 🌮 🙌🏻

I had asked Talin’s Speech teacher how / if she celebrates St. Patrick’s Day and she said no & yes. Her & her daughters make “Jewish Sloppy Joes”. Now if you don’t know what a Sloppy Joe is then you are not from the NJ area. Lol In parts of northern New Jersey, a sloppy joe is a cold delicatessen sandwich. There are minor variations depending on the deli, but it is always a double decker thin sliced rye bread sandwich made with one or more types of sliced deli meat, such as turkey, ham, pastrami, corned beef, roast beef, or sliced beef tongue, along with swiss cheese, coleslaw, and Russian dressing.

1 1/2 chicken breasts
3 cloves of honey
3/4 cup of beer
1/3 cup honey
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp dijon mustard
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tsp olive oil
2 tbsp cilantro
1. Cut the chicken into 1/2 inch cubes
2. Mix all ingredients together and let the chicken marinate for 2-24 hours
3. Place the chicken on skewers
4. Fire up the Burnie Grill
5. Cool until meat is white throughout

Todo mundo sabe cómo hacer un licuado/smoothie de fresa ☺️, pero aquí les va una receta en caso de que estén entrando al mundo del #cooking
☺️👏🏻 y sepan la cantidad de calorías que están consumiendo y otros nutrimentos importantes.
Lo que van a necesitar es:
- 7-8 fresas (promedio).
- 1/8 taza de avena en hojuelas.
- 1 taza de leche deslactosasa light.
- Hielo al gusto. ⚠️Ojo! Si usan leche entera deben considerar que son ~50 calorías más!. Si lo cambian por leche de almendras tendremos menos calorías y menor aporte de proteína.
Hay que mezclar .
🔘Por grupo de alimentos queda así:
✅ 0.5 porción fresa entera.
✅ 0.25 porción cereales sin grasa.
✅ 1 porción de leche descremada.

Homemade blueberry jam
2 cups blueberries
1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup water
1tsp cornstarch (optional)
1.Prepare your jars by boiling the lids, rings and jars in boiling water for 5 minutes.
2.In a wide saucepan or skillet on low-medium heat, add the blueberries,sugar,water and cornstarch.Stir to combine.
3.Then use your potato masher to smash up the blueberries and release their juices
4.Turn up the heat to medium, then cook the blueberry mixture until it is gently boiling.Keep cooking, and stirring until the mixture thickens. You must, must stir constantly or your jam will burn. As well the constant stirring will help to prevent the jam from splattering out of the pan.
5 .You will likely need to cook the jam for 30 or more minutes.You will know that the jam is ready when the mixture is thick enough to leave an open trail behind the spoon.
6.Remove from heat, and let cool completely before serving.
If this jam is too chunky for you, you can use your hand blender to puree and enjoy.

I don’t count calories, but because I am overweight it is important that I understand calorie density. Did you know a whole head of cabbage only has about 300 calories? Two pounds of food for 300 calories! I sliced it up and it filled up one of my biggest pans! If I were to try to eat it all at once, my stomach would be full before I could make it through the 300 calories. I added a 14.4 ounce bag of corn for only another 315 calories. That made enough food to fill five bowls! I cooked this in just the water that was clinging to the cabbage after rinsing. If I had cooked it in oil, I could have easily added a few hundred calories to the pan without adding much bulk and without adding a significant amount of micronutrients (vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, antioxidants). #vegan #wfpb #plantbased #simple #cabbage #corn #caloriedensity #weightloss #healthyrecipes #easyrecipes #yummy
