Tips For a Good Nights Sleep
Sleep is fundamental to our health and well being.
Here are a few tips to set the stage.
Follow a regular schedule. Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day. Yup that means weekends too.
Make sure your environment is quiet, relaxing and at a comfortable temperature. If possible have room darkening blinds.
Just like we do with our children try to establish a bedtime routine. Maybe a warm bath or shower, read a book. Remove iPads and cellphones from your bedroom
Exercise 30 minutes a day
Not only does this give you energy during the day but it helps you sleep too.
I aim to get a minimum of 7 hours a night and maximum 8. I just feel my best with these hours.
