My mom always says, “If you’re not going to do something right, then don’t do it at all.” That’s so true even when it comes to recording macros and eating. It’s easy to slip a little bit and think it doesn’t count but after a while it will eventually catch up with you. Im not saying if you’re not going to eat clean then don’t do it at all. But if you’re not going to do it with full intentions of working at it, nothing good will come out of it.
Last week I tried to cut out all added sugar (honey, agave, etc.) I made sure everything recorded in my macros was 100% accurate. And in just last week my body dropped two pounds. Goes to show how just even a little sugar makes your body hold on to fat it doesn’t need.
So I’m keeping it rolling this week.
For breakfast is egg white casserole with one cup of grapes (total between both colors). For the casserole add one large carton (60 tablespoons) of liquid egg white into a large bowl. Add in 3 different copper veggies (I did mushrooms, bell peppers and broccoli/cauliflower mix). Spray large baking sheet. Dump in mixture. Even out veggies. Cook and crumble 6 oz. of turkey sausage (drain fat). Spread evenly on mixture. Add in feta cheese crumbles and bake at 375° for 25 minutes or until fully cooked in the center.
For lunch: Ground turkey stir fry.
Slice three types of veggies ( I did peas, bell pepper and squash). Spray with light cooking oil and sauté. While veggies are cooking, add in 1/4 cup light sodium soy sauce. Separate into containers. Cook 2 pounds of ground turkey. Drain fat. Cook jasmine rice and separate into containers. Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce to drizzle.

as of tomorrow i am beginning an eighty day challenge. this is big 🙀
my no.1 obstacle in my fitness journey has been remaining consistent. i used to be a total gym rat where workouts were not even an option - i did it every day + i loved it
but i also judged myself a lot, tended toward restrictive diets + overall i was just left feeling worse off than when i started. so eventually i stopped completely
in the last year i’ve reintroduced myself to mindful health and self care - eating based on what my body is asking for and never restricting myself from things i want (which includes hellla treats)
but i’m ready to get back on track. i believe whole heartedly that health and fitness go hand in hand and you need BOTH to live your healthiest, most vibrant life. i’m excited to finally find a healthy balance of it all 🧘🏽♀️🥑🤸🏽♀️🥕🙏🏽💛 #joinme #80daychallenge #healthreset

Meal prep Sundays! 💪 Been back at uni for a week and I’m trying to maintain a balanced lifestyle so prepping my meals is a big help. Why?
1. It saves a huge amount of time during the week as you don’t have to cook as often
2. Allows you to spend more time socialising/at the gym/doing work whilst also staying on track
3. Reduces the temptation to order a takeaway when you’re feeling lazy and can’t be bothered to cook (we’ve all been there!) What are your favourite healthy on the go meals?
Meal prep ✅✅✅ - Ready for the week. I used to hate peas...now I love them! This has happened in the past two weeks...🤷🏽♀️ Easiest way to prep a ton of veggies - huge baking sheet, your veggies, whatever seasoning you want (Coconut Aminos, black pepper, & garlic powder for us), roast at 375 for 30 minutes. DONEZO.
Don’t mind me, Jusssssssst celebrating some now 6inch loss. It’s been hard. I’ve turned down Cake more times than I care to remember (not the odd Skittle tho,soz Dill!) and I’ve become the dreaded ‘screamer’ in the gym but finally seeing some progress! Thank you @rhc_fitness_and_lifestyle
