Instant pot pork chops and kale salad with bacon - I seasoned the pork with @primalpalate
BBQ blend and seared them on my griddle before cooking them with beef broth in the instant pot. I de-stemmed, massaged, and cut up the kale, doused it with @tessemaes
zesty ranch and a little parm and let it sit in the fridge for an hour before topping with bacon to serve. Damn tasty and we’ll have that salad for days.
Sometimes, you just need to wind down, relax and enjoy some nice South Indian food on a Sunday. One of my favourite recipes is this Keto Upma. It is so easy to make and so delicious!
In a pan take 2 tbsp ghee. Add mustard seeds and let them fry for a minute. Add chopped onions (1/2 small) and chopped green chillies and fry until onions are golden. Add in 1/2 cup dessicated coconut or coconut flour and toast on low heat. Add in a pinch of paprika and a pinch of turmeric and toast some more. Add in a cup of water and let it cook until water evaporates. Garnish with some more ghee and mustard seeds 😋😍
Meal prepp: good salad for lunch at work ! Spiced up chicken with all the delicious ingredients makes a damn good bowl of everything I need ! 😍😍

• 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese
• 6 tablespoons almond flour
Melt the cheese in the microwave for one minute.
Mix in the almond flour and any seasonings you want.
Spread out on parchment paper. Bake until starts to brown on top 350°
Add cheese on top and broil on low until the cheese gets melty!
When you already know you’re about to get some serious side eye from the post office ladies. 👀

On hour # 21 of my fast (I did have a coffee with a tbsp of HWC this morning, some people may say that’ll break the fast but it amounted to 40 calories so I’m not counting that.) Feeling strong (just thirsty! Downing water like no tomorrow) and this is my longest fast yet - these get easier and easier the more I do them 🙂 I typically cut it off at 16 hours but we’re gonna try for as long as possible this evening!

, we went out and had some family time earlier today and now we’re all just chilling on the couch with Charley (🐶). In keeping with the theme of relaxation, I kept my 2nd & final meal of the day easy, simple, and delicious. Here’s what I had, the meal’s macros, and the day’s final numbers - 2,043 calories, 20g net carbs, and 120 oz of water. I went a little higher than I wanted on calories, but I NAILED my macro ratios, so I’m good with it. 👍🏻😃🙌🏻😋📊 •

For daily recipes -
Cheese Taco Shells
2 cups Cheddar cheese shredded
1 pound Ground beef
1 tablespoon Chili Powder
2 teaspoons Cumin
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/4 cup Water
Toppings for taco: Sour cream avocado, cheese, lettuce, etc.
Preheat oven to 350F.
On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat place 1/4 cup piles of cheese 2 inches apart. Press the cheese down lightly so it makes one layer.
Place baking sheet in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes or until the edges of the cheese are brown.
Let the cheese cool for 2-3 minutes then lift it up and place it over the handle of a spoon or other utensil that is balanced on two cups.
Let cheese cool completely then remove.
While you continue to bake your cheese taco shells place the ground beef in a skillet over medium high heat cooking until it is completely cooked through.
Drain the grease from the meat and then add the cumin, chili powder, onion, powder, garlic powder, and salt. Pour water into skillet and stir everything around mixing it together.
Simmer for 5 minutes or until liquid has cooked away.
Add meat to taco shells and top with your favorite taco toppings.
