But in the midst of this - we sometimes forget to thank everyone who has helped us along the way. Today, and for the next three sold out nights we’re hosting Thanksgiving dinner at Sunday. Lunch at 4 pm today, made with whatever in my fridge. Salad with cabbage, Vietnamese mints & Italian ham. Grilled eggplants that I grilled 2 days ago, tossed with Italian mushrooms in oil, seasoning with fish sauce & black pepper. I finished these 2 yummy dishes with a bowl of rice 😋😍

Weight loss is not as simple as calories in vs. calories out. in fact, reducing your calories too much can actually slow down your metabolism. I've seen this too many times.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If your hormones are not doing what you want them too, your body is going to be stuck in "Fat-storage" mode instead of "Fat-Burning" mode. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you have a constant intake of sugar (like most people today), you may be affecting your insulin sensitivity. insulin is a storage hormone, it will cause your body to store fat (this is normally a good thing). We need to store fat as an energy surplus, the problem is we never have to use this surplus because we have constant fuel coming in from sugar. You just keep adding to the surplus.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Add into the mix a hormone called cortisol and you have a perfect recipe for fat storage. Hogy én miért nem sütöttem még meg idáig ezt a zabpudingból készült vegán palacsinta receptet, nem tudom?!🤦 Egyszerűen tökéletes, nagyon-nagyon finom!🤤 Megtaláltam a #szafireform palacsinta méltó utódját 🤗 ! Jupii! Pedig pont azon gondolkoztam,hogy veganizálom a kedvenc Szafi Reform palacsintát valahogy 😁🤔, de erre már nincs szükség! De jó,hogy már egy finom, tekerhető, a hagyományoshoz leginkább hasonlító palacsintához sem fog nekem tojás kelleni ezentúl!❤️ 🙏 A palacsintákat egyébként mákos töltelékkel töltöttem meg, csak az egyik felét (igen egy db már hiányzik 😁) mákos-áfonya lekvárosan a másik felét pedig mákos-piros bogyós gyümölcsvelősen. A tetejükre pedig még némi datolyakaramellt csorgattam és gránátalmát is szórtam.😋 .
