A lot of people are terrified of fat as they believe it will make them fat and unhealthy, and I get it! Trust me, I've been there...
With all the mixed messages we get from internet, magazines, doctors and friends it's no wonder we get confused. Especially considering the bad reputation fat has had in our society for so many years. .
Even though this has changed a bit the last couple of years, it seems like the "bad label" have left a fear in many people. But if we break it down and simplify it, we can compare eating fat to eating any other foods Just as eating blueberries want turn you into a blueberry, neither will fat make you fat. .
Fat is actually crucial for our bodies to function properly. It is an important factor in hormone production, brain health, digestion, skin & hair quality, energy levels and most other things happening in our bodies. Eating enough fat also help us stabilize our blood sugar and leaving us fuller longer, so we don't have to crash mid day! .
There are of course many types of fat, and it is important to look at the quality and origin when using it, "fat is not just fat". My point however, is to encourage anyone not to deprive the self from using fat, as doing so can actually cause some serious consequences to their health!🥜🌰
