The best part about doing a summer shred is having a flourishing garden to work with! Tonight’s salad consists of fresh picked romaine, spinach, green ice lettuce and red romaine, peppers off my tower garden, cucumbers, onion chives, strawberries, peas, pumpkin seeds and fresh picked saskatoons (courtesy of my SIL who picked while I gabbed lol). Lunch for today, one of these Japchae bento 😋😋 feeling blessed ❤️❤️. Probably not going to yoga studio tonight cause I need to run some errands. Last night HOT26 was kinda special. Usually, Monday night HOT26 is probably the toughest class of the whole week cause I used to push hard on Sunday with a three-hour practice so I was always fatigue on Monday. Also I’m usually busy on Monday and whole day in stress so I perceive that hot yoga a lot tougher in my brain than it actually is. Last Saturday, my Saturday HOT26 master couldn’t make it to the class so it was led by my Monday HOT26 master. In the beginning I thought it was a disaster cause Saturday HOT26 always feels easier than Monday’s and I started to think it’s due to different master’s teaching. But it turns out, it was only me, my perceptions and my projected effort required to be put into that practice based on my feelings which r not facts. The class was just as easy as it always was, so it sort of broke the curse on my Monday HOT26 and now I know it’s just the same as Saturday HOT26. Yesterday was not intense work wise, plus I only did two-hour yoga last Sunday, so my body conditions were quite nice when I stepped in that studio last night. And this time I didn’t have too much psychological struggle in the whole course which usually contributed to even more stress to me on my Monday. I ended up finishing it easy breezy, and I realized this is how I should have done it cause yoga is supposed to help me relax and release the stress in me not the contrary. Stressing over not being able to nail some difficult poses should never be part of the process. I’m returning to my old neighborhood tonight to pick up sth then visiting my old favorite grocery store that has all the awesome stuff I need. box! I am blown away by the quality of food and how EASY it is to prepare! For my first meal I tried the Sweet potato peanut pad Thai and it was awesome. It only took me 8 minutes to make, no mess & it was only 380 calories a serving. I can’t wait to see what else is in store this week 🤗

Sometimes you just need some breakfast for dinner! These are the best paleo pancakes ever! Made from eggs, almond flour, coconut milk, vanilla, poppyseed, lemon zest and some swerve to sweeten them up! Tossed in some blueberries and they add up to around 4 net carbs per servings (4 mini pancakes).

I finally meal prepped!!! I am calling this a big win for me 😊
I am ready for the week now and followed my containers to a T! I roasted 2 spaghetti squashes, made some veggie ground from yves and mixed in some veggies and marinana sauce 🍝
Best part is that this took me 30 mins from start to finish 👊 Eating healthy isn't boring or expensive. Each one of these meals costs about $3 total. And I also have my superfoods shake for breakfast so under $10 for 2 meals a day is really good!!! When you add up all the "little things" like coffee, snacks and drive thru food it can add up! I used to ALWAYS eat out and spent $50 a meal with my husband. That's just crazy.
So now I make a weekly menu, shop accordingly and have my food ready to grab and go. I also had my furry helper to eat the little extra, she approves so I'm happy 😊
Remember you must plan to stay on track! Plan to fail or fail to plan is NOT an option here!

Den and I quickly threw this meal together tonight and I’m pretty impressed! I made Cajun salmon cakes with a spicy Greek yogurt and he made the spinach salad with fresh mint, almonds and strawberries. It felt satisfying, nutritious and the perfect amount of food. I really love being reminded that we are both talented in the kitchen. This current season of life has been lots of hustle bustle and not as much creative and healthy cooking as I’d like. BUT I’m learning more and more each day that everything comes in it’s due time. It’s been a hard week, but meals like this and a (tiny) summer evening breeze puts a smile on my face. #summermoments
Queque de chocolate con mantequilla de almendras 🍫💜 Les quiero compartir la receta de esta delicia súper fácil y practica q hice hace unas semanas para mis amigas de la u 🙌
-2 tazas de harina integral
-1/2 taza de cacao en polvo @nutrybodyperu
-1 taza de panela @nutrybodyperu
-5 cdas de ghee @gheemotherearths
-1cda de bicarbonato de sodio
Mezclar ingredientes secos y luegos líquidos. Unir ambas mezclas y ponerlo en un molde de 20cm. Lo pueden bañar en fudge o lo que prefieran. Yo le coloque mantequilla de almendras de @the.butter.factory
y quedo deli. Hornear a una temperatura de 180° por 45 o 50 min.

inspired me to go ahead and cook it! Yum! Most of the time I eat it in the form of soba noodles but this will definitely now be a new staple in my regular food rotation! .
Buckwheat really does amaze me! How did I go so long without knowing/eating this wonderful plant!?! Scroll over to see what the buckwheat plant looks like. It’s so beautiful. In my future garden maybe I can plant some! Perhaps not to eat (because I have no idea how to harvest it), but to just look pretty!😬 .
I paired my buckwheat with some sautéed organic sprouted tofu (tossed in ground flaxseeds, coconut aminos, and then sesame seed oil) along with roasted purple cauliflower, broccoli, and turmeric (coated in tahini, water, nutritional yeast, pepper, and salt). 😍💜🥦#plantpower
