Thank you @piratecavegirl
On my first morning in San Francisco, I saw a post on Instagram about a talk being given by @mysticcassandra
in relation to her book, @skillinaction.
I very nearly scrolled right past it, as it hadn’t quite registered that a) the talk was in San Francisco, and b) I TOO, was in San Francisco!
I had tried to get the book in Singapore a couple of months prior, but couldn’t find it. I then figured I’d be able to get it in the States, so didn’t pursue the matter further. Now I had a chance to get my hands on the book in the best possible way, so I bought a ticket and made my way to @therubysf.
The evening was spent with a wonderful group of women who all had stories to tell. What had seemed “convenient” and “lucky” quickly became much more, as I connected with like-minded individuals over memories, interests, frustrations and passions.
I’m not going to talk about the book here. The next few posts will most likely be in relation to it, and on a bigger scale, the work in which I want to continue to do and grow will most definitely draw inspiration from this deceptively slim but potent work of action. ♥️
