This Week, I want to talk about #SCALING
THE BUSINESS. Successful businesses are really good at making those tough decisions that require cutting dead ends to remain #profitable
. We must also get good at quickly removing what doesn’t serve the business (in our lives) in order to operate at maximum #efficiency
🔹For example, when we go to the #hair
salon sometimes we have to cut some dead ends. I can’t tell you how many fits I want to have but I know it needs to be done. It’s #unhealthy
and if left it will surely damage the rest of your hair.
🔹As you’re reading this I’m sure you already know which dead ends you need to remove from your life:
◾️Business partnerships 💅🏾
◾️Bad money habits
It’s tough but it has to be done. When we cut these ties, we immediately remove the #stress
, worry and confusion that came with it. This is where we grow. That hair cut is going to hurt though. In fact you’re probably going to go through the “uncomfortable phase” where you cry, you’re sad, in pain and upset BUT just know it gets better.
📍Steps to Scaling:
1️⃣. Do inventory. Evaluate the business and decide which dead ends need to be cut out of your life in order to grow. List📝
2️⃣. Develop a plan on how to respectfully & quickly cut ties. ✂️
3️⃣. Set a deadline and do it. 📆
4️⃣. Take time to Heal. Maybe you need to do a hiring freeze meaning no dating. Yep, I said it. 😘
5️⃣. Move on. It’s growth time. 💃🏽
Ask Questions and share your experience. Do you remember a time when you had to scale the business? How did it go?
