Today I learned how to make Koshary @ihousedavis
! Koshary is an Egyptian dish composed of rice, lentils, and macaroni and topped with chickpeas, crispy onions and spiced tomato sauce. It was oh so good! Got to meet some great people too! If you’re in Davis, you have to check out International House! They have an Indian cooking class coming up next month (4/28). Also, today I learned that in Egypt, hummus refers to the chickpeas themselves, not the dip that has become oh so popular here in the US.
