What’s cooler than being cool? Ice cold waterfalls that’s what

"Half the fun of travel is the aesthetic of lostness." Ray Bradbury
Off the road and into the wilderness, there may lie a secret path or hidden place. Between the bushes and trees there may be a view rewarding the brave. Follow your intuition and let your heart guide you. Listen to your inner voice and see where it can take you. Stop calculating your hours, days, life and feel the air filling your lungs and stop caring about time or appointments for just a moment. Embrace the feeling of being. You're alive and that's enough to be grateful for.
Fun fact: we got terribly lost on our hike so we ended up here. Totally unplanned, no regrets at all!
Have you ever seen a blue as pure as this?
This is the Cane Creek Potash Mine operated by Intrepid Potash. Potash refers to various types of mined and manufactured salts that contain potassium in water-soluble form, often used in fertilizer. The high concentration of these salts in the water scatter the sunlight making these drying pools look almost artificially blue.

Manchmal ergibt auch ein einfacher Wasserlauf ein tolles Bild, besonders im Spätherbst. 💦🍂 Es muss ja nicht immer ein Berggipfel sein, auch das exakte Gegenteil, der Talboden, ist mit etwas Fantasie genauso fotogen 📸 •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Sometimes even a simple river makes a great picture, especially in late autumn 💦🍂 It doesn't necessarily has to be a mountaintop, the exact opposite, the bottom of the valley, is equally photogenic with some fantasy 📸
I’m often difficult to love. I go through dark periods like the moon and I hide from myself. But I promise I will kiss your wounds when they’re hurting. Even if they’re in your soul, I can find them with the light in my fingertips. I will lead you to the river so you can remember how beautiful it feels to be moved by something that is out of your control. And when our dark periods match, we can breathe with the grass and look at the night sky. The stars will remind us of the beauty in our struggles and we won’t feel lost anymore. - Emery Allen
Looks like this volcano is ready to blow.

Truly a day to remember when @alstermaedchen
ran this freaking beautiful ridge in dense and even denser fog a few weeks ago when we shot for a film portrait about her for @ledlenser_official
and the @trailsinmotion
film festival. Premiere will be in Hamburg on December 4th. Hope to see some of you there. Very excited to see this on a big screen.

I gained newfound appreciation for birds during our time Australia & New Zealand. The first one is a Kea, only found on the South Island of New Zealand. And also the only parrot species that lives in alpine regions. The second ones are sulphur-crested cockatoos, found in Australia, New Guinea and some parts of Indonesia 🐦🐦 #kea #parrot #cockatoos #sulphurcrestedcockatoo #newzealand #australia #birds
The key question to keep asking is, are you spending your time on the right things? Because time is all you have. - Randy Pausch
Cold, windy, worth it. Thought my fingers were gonna freeze up here.
I'm about ready for a vacay back here. 💭💭
A world class icon, a one of a kind avenue famous for very good reason. Native to Madagascar, the stumpy trees you see here are also known as the Baobab trees. This is the largest cluster still living and has been attracting travellers worldwide. The trees tower at 98ft in height and circumferences of up to 160ft. Recreating a prehistoric age before the dinosaurs, some of the trees are in fact 800 years old and continue to be revered by the people traversing down the road daily. Seeing the trees against the setting sun, their trunks painted in liquid gold, it’s hard not to be struck dumb by their awe. Such an unusual yet iconic sight can be found in only one place and that’s none other than Menabe.
How many iconic spots in the world have you ticked off your list? #wowabouts

Funny how men shape nature to their liking. But as soon we stop existing Earth retakes it all.

The waterfall has 2 names: Finnish "Jukankoski" and Russian "White bridges". The first is connected with the name of the settlement nearby - "Juka" to which added "koski" that is translated as "river threshold". The second is connected with the white stone bridges that the Finns once built upstream. Today, there are no bridges, but the name remains.
At the Berglistüber waterfall in Switzerland you can sit behind the waterfall and enjoy the never ending natural phenomenon 🙌🏻💦
After talking and dreaming about it for a few weeks, we finally saw a herd of yaks in the mountains near Annapurna South. We had made camp at 3400 meters and it started to snow a bit. And then we heard the sound of their bells from somewhere in the clouds and they magically appeared right in front of us. And I must admit, I was at least as excited as my six year old son in that moment.
A grey mountain looming the back. The man in front starts wondering about life.

With a fresh coat of snow outside, I’m feeling extra grateful for the last days of autumn that I soaked up last weekend 🍂

This was the last evening that we spent on the Isle of Skye and we had a magical sunset! The whole landscape was covered in perfect golden glow 🌅
