Another capture from Colorado 📸.
The beauty of Emerald Lake in Yoho NP 🌷significantly less crowded because of its neighbors in Banff but just as beautiful.
Can't get enough of these colors 😍
While Emerald lake is famous for tourist crowds and parking shortage, canoe rental is a great way to escape the hustle of the parking lot.
2 hr rental is perfect for a nice relaxing time on the water and a picnic on the other side of the lake where you can find a secluded spot.
It’s actually that colour. ☀️⛰🛶
Three days in Banff are not enough to really experience the splendor on this side of the world. Today, we chose Emerald Lake over Moraine Lake because we wanted to avoid the crowds...and even though I haven’t been to Moraine, I was blown away by the colour of the water and the incredible mountain views in every direction. (Plus, apparently the canoe rentals are less than half the price of Lake Louise!) I’ll be posting my highlight stories when I get back to better wifi, and I hope you’ll follow along! Better yet, I hope you have the chance to see Banff, Yoho and Kootenay National Parks for yourself because they are so magical!

We’ll never forget you Banff 🇨🇦
A few weeks ago, i was not able to answer the question where my very favourite place is. Now I think my answer will never change. #ilovecanada
Last minute change of plans brought us to the beautiful Emerald Lake, where we nearly had the place to ourselves this morning.
The scent of wet soil mixed with the pine trees, the rumour of the river, the sun in my face. Can I go back?
Dernière journée avant le départ de ces babes la. Merci d’avoir rendu la première partie de mon voyage parfaite ❤️🤙🏼. @laudube @priscillia.taylor
So I climbed a mountain.
Emerald Lake is only accessible by going up a mountain path. You can’t drive to it, you must hike it. Elevation: 10,080ft
This past year had kind of felt like I was in the valley. Car repairs non stop last fall, financial stressors, overworking way too many hours eventually lead to doctor visits in the winter followed by many tests. The doctor’s diagnosis: we don’t know what’s going on. My guess is stress and not enough sleep and healthy body rhythms.
Changes had to be made.
My physical is important. My physical is spiritual. Realizing that Jesus meets me just as much in the physical activity I do as he does in the times I’m still, has been life changing. You can’t sacrifice physical health for spiritual work and think your soul will be ok. Your soul needs to climb spiritual mountains and physical ones to grow in life and have balance.
The beauty of Emerald Lake was worth the climb. It was worth every step that is both a mental and physical challenge. Nature like this leaves me blown away by God as the creator. I will be climbing more mountains in my life from now on. Physical and spiritual. #climbsomemountains #soulcare #colorado #rockymountains #emeraldlake
