Lubnaig, Loch (Stirling) ‘Loch of the Bend’. Lùb (Scottish Gaelic) ‘bend’, with a double Scottish Gaelic suffix, -an, and -aig, both of which indicate ‘small’ - although the loch isn’t particularly small...! Thanks to @paprikahayes
for my book about Scottish place names!
Despite Loch Lubnaig not being very small it is particularly scenic!
