After shooting this clip I realized you can hardly tell that I’m using the arm blaster. Shooting from a tripod definitely has its pros and cons and this is one of those cons... anyway, if you have access to an arm blaster this one will not disappoint! There are a couple of things that I look for in a highly efficient exercise. Being able to brace or lock in is right at the top of the list. Here your torso is braced against the bench and elbow against the arm blaster. This forces every bit of activity to be placed where you want it. ON YOUR BICEPS! There is a reason that some variation seem harder or heavier than others. Most of the time that is because you are getting less recruitment from other muscles. And yes that is the goal my friends. No Pain No Gain! Right? When I say the pump was real, I’m not kidding. If you haven’t tried BFR (blood flow restriction) training, I definitely recommend you try it out.
If you’re someone like me, and your arms struggle to grow. Try using this training method out, Because what BFR does is it creates a lot of metabolic stress in the area you’re targeting. Which means in the end you’re stimulating muscle growth with a lot less weight, and higher frequency.
I personally strap these bad boys on at the end of my workouts to finish that particular muscle group off. I also stick to 15 to 20lbs (very light) trust me you’ll feel the pain even with that weight.

495 || Deadlift is enjoyable to do on a cut because it is usually the last one to experience negative effects due to dieting. Squatting and benching heavy on a deficit is tough, but deadlifts are still feeling nice. 10+ pounds more to cut; I’ll be working hard to make sure my deadlift numbers don’t drop over this period. #summershredding

Sooooo, this whole month of May has been quite the freaking adventure. Finals are wrapped up and I can move on to the next set of hellish nursing courses, a new occupation that commutes farther than I’ve ever driven for a day-job, and I (among others) anticipate the arrival of a previously recorded episode of “Caso Cerrado;” that’s if the production team ever decides to air it, LoL. Oh, and I’ve been on and off battling viruses for at LEAST THREE WEEKS (AAA-CHOOOOO!) and that means I’ve been on and off with my workout regimen FOR AT LEAST THREE FACKIN WEEKS!! With summer already arriving, that’s a real huge no-no for me.......however, as I look forward to my future, I can’t help but reminisce on the past. Sure, life can be a major female dog, but......at least I now know what the hell I’m striving towards and what I never want to return to. Always view the glass half-full, peepz!
