When your friends become your family. #nofilter
Super fun night racing the sunset at North Table tonight with #ArvadaRunners
— sadly our group photos were not the best but we snagged one good sunset shot. Love ❤️ these mountain ⛰ goat 🐐 runners 🏃🏻 🏃🏻♀️!
We speak in clichés
& of repeated knowledge
Of things we once knew & are just now reunited
With the memory
Of something that once was & yet, brand new.
Had so much fun exploring today with my love! ❤️ Every day is an adventure with you!
The landscape needs no filter to enhance its beauty, its raw and amazing
Fall hike🍂❤️ in Rocky Mountain National Park
A little sneak peek of what’s coming this fall ❄️⛷🤫
Sometimes the world just makes you feel so small. 🌎
"Every leaf speaks bliss to me,
Fluttering from the autumn tree" 🧡🍃
This hike was quite brushy 🌳 .
However they loved finding all the little paths they could go through and how fast they could get somewhere . .
There’s something about getting outdoors and into the wilderness that stirs the soul.
Even more so with great friends.
There’s also something to the friendships you’ll make through the journey of the hunt.
From the guides to the hunters to the camera crew, all of them were exceptional on this trip!
, “I go galavanting because it sets me free, keeps me creative, and makes me stronger. There’s nothing better than feeling a sense of freedom. Whether it’s from yourself or others. When I’m standing on peaks or amongst the trees, there’s an accomplishment that I was in control of and I succeeded in. There was a strength I tested and pushed through. The outdoors make me happy and as long as it keeps making me happy, I’ll keep galavanting.”
Have a kickass week, ladies. 👊🏼

Pickup day! Hauling my new teardrop (squaredrop?) back to my boondock spot in Leadville!
In theory, it would have been nice to report this and the sale of the Casita in real-time. But this photo was actually taken 3 days ago on Friday, and I sold and sent Cas off with his new owners on Saturday. It was an exhausting couple days. Not in a bad way, but I just needed all my time and energy those days to devote to the tasks at hand. I hope you understand. :)
And before you ask, yes I got more photos and some video too! There’s a blog post and vid in the works with all the details and I’ll share here when they go up.
For now I’ll just say things are going well! Here’s to new adventures! ❤️⛺️🏔🏜🌅🏞
Thank you kind soul for parking in the perfect spot for me to make this image! 🍁 Scenes from Guanella Pass this last weekend!
I know it’s kind of late but I’m working on my first Denver blog post and can’t get over how retro this photo looks. Anyway, Denver was amazing but my dog cuddling me right now is best. G’night guys. I hope you’re happy wherever you are! Even if it’s just laying on your couch.
This shot of Mount Massive was taken in Leadville today during my attempts to get my shit together. Faced with a little more time off than I planned, I made a last second decision to backpack the Four Pass Loop at a leisurely three day pace beginning tomorrow. I hope to find some remnants of autumn color in the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness. Also hoping for some introspective truth seeking time as I will be doing this solo. I'm even bringing a journal (😱) to hold myself accountable and actually put pen to paper for once.
I have lots of work ahead of me in all areas of my life, so I'll start with a bucket list hike in my favorite part of the state, and go from there. 😍😬
Got to love lakeside views during peak fall season. Plus it’s nice to see the lake before it freezes over. Tag a friend below. 📸: @aldeghaither

Any day spent in the mountains is a good day! 🌞🌲 🍁 ❤️
My kinda Monday!
Raylan and I were chatting about what makes mountains so cool and he said because they are special to God. I have always felt something amazing in the woods on top of the mountains but maybe that’s just the way it is suppose to be. So many encounters with God from the Bible happened on top of mountains.
Noah's ark settled on a mountaintop. God spoke to Moses through the burning bush on Mount Horeb. God delivered the Ten Commandments to Moses on mount Sinai. God spoke to Elijah on the same mountain. Many other events occurred on mount Zion. And of course the famous sermon on the Mount. Perhaps being closer to heaven and away from the noise of society and cities allows us to listen closer to the whispers of God. #mountainmama
