I've had a fear of heights since I was a little boy, when I almost fell off a second storey. I don't have vertigo, I can stand at the edge of a cliff no problem as long as I'm tethered. This past summer I really made a point to push myself and try to conquer that fear. Sitting at the edge of the Grand Canyon, as the sun came up, was one of those once in a lifetime experiences, and crawled and scooted all the way to the edge, as far as I could go, and sat there for a while, taking it all in.
Located in the middle of the quiet German country side and protected by a thick canopy of evergreens, this lake is the ultimate basecamp for endless wandering... find the spot in our bio! #roamwithravle

Schwarzwald, translates to "The Black Forest", and encapsulates the calm and vast evergreen canopy in Bavaria, Germany. Watch @jm.garin 's beautiful film of the perfect escape from the rush of urban living during his 5 day road trip through this beautiful landscape! Link in our bio.. #roamwithrave
"To me, new adventures don’t necessarily mean traveling far away, but more so exploring my surroundings and shaping my own perspective of the way I see the world". We can't agree more with this philosophy of young photographer and filmmaker Jean-Marc Garin based in Aosta, a small town in the Italian Alps. He is releasing his Ravle Trip: Schwarzwald: The Black Forest this week and we couldn't be more excited to support this creative on his past and future adventures! #roamwithravle

Chasing swell at golden hour. I was surprised at how many surfers were out at sunrise but I can see why when a set like this came through!
I remember always seeing images on #Instagram saying ‘don’t forget to look up!’ Which is a great reminder, but if we spend all of our time metaphorically looking up, always looking for that next thing, you never really have time to appreciate what you have already climbed. How far you have come, and all of the valleys you have crossed to get where you are today. SO GOOD ON YOU!!👏🏻👏🏻Congratulations, you’re hear, today in the present (maybe not so present because you are scrolling through Instagram.) but hey, you did real good kid, you made it this far. #congratulations#lookbackatit#mountainstones
