“But I want to be here
Truly. Be. Here
To watch the ones that I love bloom
And I want to make room
To love them through and through and through
And through the slow and barren seasons too”
You’ve got to pay the troll toll. 😆🌈🛤
Fall dancing around my feet 🍁👣
The Alberta District in Portland is probably one of my favourite areas we’ve explored on this trip. 💕🤘
It's one thing to acknowledge a higher power & a complete opposite to GIVE yours away to another being equal to you.
Multnomah Falls. So pretty. 💚👌
One of my favorite pictures @darrellcassell
has snapped of me 📸 It just so happened to be at the most beautiful beach I have ever seen.
I just realized that today is October 17th which means it's our 6.5 yr anniversary 😍 I'm so lucky to have found a partner like you so young in life. Our love is deeply special and I am super stoked to call you my fiance 😍
I love cool early mornings! That first warm touch of the sun when the air is still crisp...exhaling and seeing billows of your own breath. AAAAAAH I’m just in my element!
True story: I took this row boat out on the lake and couldn’t row it back to shore. My friend swam out to rescue the boat 😂 It’s not as easy as it looks, haha! (also, just discovered the @enlightpixaloop
app - it adds motion to your photos and is super fun to play around with)!
Looking out at the mountains from Black Butte.
Enjoyed a beautiful hike with the family this weekend on our way back from camping. 🍁
Multnomah Falls. I visited this site years ago but do not remember much and I definitely haven’t seen anything like this. A fire took this beautiful land over and it has been closed to view for a year. All of the trees half burnt and the hike to the top was closed still. I pray for healing on this land and hope the water replenishes the ground for everything green.

walking into the office this morning
First fish on a skater. Thought it was a steelhead when it hit the surface and then peeled line off my 7 wt but nope. Just a 🐷 trout that had a tummy full of giant October Caddis! @stlhd_gear @pnw_landing_nets
They aren’t that tall and they’re not particularly majestic but there’s something about these #sisters
Can’t get enough of this lovely autumn weather! 🍂🍁🍂
I’m noticing a theme in my recent posts: I tend to post big to small. A large epic scene of mountains usually captured with my drone, followed by a medium perspective usually within that scene such as a waterfall or a grove of trees, then a small almost macro perspective like today’s image. This is often how I see the natural world and also how I scan new locations for possible compositions. This leaf caught my eye from far down the path. It was beaming yellow light, backlit from the sun, and laid upon a bed of smaller green branches about 20ft in the air. I was zoomed to almost 100mm to capture it fully framed. Almost looks like it’s under a microscope, doesn’t it?!
Moody mornings on the Oregon coast ☕️
Long Tom River, Elmira, Oregon.
Current mood: caught off guard.

Water is life, especially for these surfers. Do what you love and explore.
I had been smashed by a giant wave seconds earlier. Soaked in my jacket and pants I stripped down to my compression shorts so I could still move. As I was waddling back up the beach to my car I noticed a someone with a huge camera. "I wonder what rig is!" I wondered. As I approached to ask them, we made eye contact. This person had a look of shock! Realizing I was practically naked I understood there reaction and hastefully turned the other direction 😅
I wonder if one day I can thank that person, for indirectly encouraging me to capture this view. 📸
