atlas’ first time completing a hike without being carried 🏔
efficiency is one of our top values, but parenting forces us to go slower and invites us to enjoy the experience over the outcome. to stop and collect rocks, climb stumps, and look for jellyfish (atlas’ latest favorite activity).🌲
how has your current season shifted the expression of your values? 💫
Titus after a long and exhausting day @ IKEA in Round Rock, Texas.
Change of scenery’s day we did get back in time for a sunset surf 🏄♀️ 😉 • woodland trail hike is awesome for kids •
The kids had a morning out yesterday with the grandparents and hiked Jewel of the Creek, near Cave Creek. First, there was actually water in the creek! (Our visit in April only had dry beds.) Second, there was an awesome free nature discovery day, with different stations along the trail. The kids learned about wildlife, rocks and gems, hiking safety and much more with hands on activities and free gifts. Keep tabs on the Maricopa County Parks Facebook page or website for updates on other free events they hold! @maricopacounty
Do you have treasured memories of your childhood? Where you grew up? Places you would go with your parents? And visiting the city?
What a lovely time we had exploring Rundle Mall with all the old arcades and historical buildings of Adelaide.
Under this glass lies the old steps to Adelaide’s original Tea Rooms.
It’s so much fun to spend time educating Explorason about all the ‘nooks and crannies’ of the city I grew up in.
For instance, did you know the Kings Street (King William St) has the highest name, and out of respect no other named street can cross it? Therefore, each street must change its name when it hits the king’s street.
I hope Adelaide can continue to restore and preserve the history of this city so it is here for generations to come.
If you are in Adelaide, I hope you can take some time this Christmas to head into the city and to enjoy a ‘cuppa’ in one of our many fine tea rooms.

From a lovely summer day🌲
Empire State Building. Our last visit was 10 years ago for our 5th wedding anniversary. A lot has changed since that time #empirestatebuilding
Ps. I prefer Summer visit up here #newyorkcity
/🇵🇱 Empire State Building.
Titus and Nava in the wind tunnel @ the DoSeum in San Antonio, Texas. They got to be superhero’s for a moment! See the entire video of a three part series on YouTube! You can find it by typing in Totally Titus or you can DM for the link! #totallytitus @thedoseum
Highpoint 17/50: Clingman’s Dome, Tennessee. This was an exciting one!
There’s a road heading up to the high point that has been closed a lot lately due to snow and ice. We checked this morning, and it was open. Got there this afternoon, on a sunny, warm day, and it was closed. What?! Now what do we do?! We are so close, we can’t just leave! The road was about 6.5 miles long and there was no way we were going to hike that with two kids. There was only one option: Jay must run it in his hiking boots. The kids and I would have a leisurely hike and he would run up and back down in no time. So he set off and we had a little wander up the road. I think we went about half a mile when the ranger drove by and said he was opening the road. Yay! We would get to see the top! When we got to Jay he was less than a mile from the top and had just watched all the cars zoom by him. He didn’t even get to enjoy a quiet view! But hey, at least he got some exercise, right? 😂 From the parking area we had a steep half mile hike to the lookout tower. And if you’re are looking for the geological marker, it’s at the bottom of the hiking path for some reason.
I love how you just never know what’s going to happen in this life!
More highlights and a beautiful sunset in our stories!
😂Favorite scene from the new vid 😂
The Cadillacs were stunning in the snow but I’ve never been so cold! Emmie crying pretty much sums it up. ❄️
My son’s page Totally Titus has surpassed the 100 followers milestone!! Thank you everyone for your support and we will continue to work hard, or rather harder to continue to bring you content that will continue to get better! We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! I hope you all have a great and productive day! #totallytitus
Titus enjoys the ‘piano’ stairs @thedoseum.
This will be in his upcoming YouTube video which I should have posted by the end of the day. The DoSeum in San Antonio is always a blast! #totallytitus
Where I want to be.
Thinking of our next mini-trip which is a few days up the coast during school holidays. Let the countdown begin.
Where is your next trip?
Can you see the stairs leading to the gate in the overgrown grass? This property is so peaceful, calming ... tranquil. I took this photo at an open house this morning, a potential home that hubby and I are looking at buying. I took Mr 11, Miss 9 & Miss 6 there to explore and listen to their thoughts on the property, both negative and positive. We value their opinions and of course they loved it as much as us ❤️
Fall is my absolute favorite and I have waited all year for it 🍂🤗 Fall here on this property, that we are so blessed to call ours, is truly a dream come true! 🥰
Today me and the kids went exploring (this is the best pic I got unfortunately). We found beautiful boulders and several mini waterfalls from this past week of steady rain! It’s so beautiful here. I’ll be soaking up the last few weeks of these gorgeous colors until they’re gone!
We had only a couple afternoons to explore St. Augustine and one of the days it was raining so it was more of a car tour. The next day we were able to explore a little more walking around the fort, waking down St.. George street, and trying #hyppo
popsicles in their original location. #staugustine #explore #exploringwithkids
They are basically models 😂 we actually had a fun time exploring — love taking these munchkins around!
