best ever workday breakfast 🙌🏻 i used to always bring oatmeal with protein powder and pb to work for breakfast and don’t get me wrong it was DELICIOUS but did not keep me full! decided i needed to cut carbs in the morning and up the protein! if you’re the same way- try making these egg muffins for the week! they seriously make it so easy to bring a protein packed breakfast to work. you can also freeze them and defrost for the next week if you make too many! recipe is in my highlights ✨

Today, we celebrated my mum’s birthday and the chef decided to a surprise her with a cherry cake! It’s tastes as good as it looks, chock full of cherries in between the layers (see IG stories). This, on top of 2 other bakes that went out. - Anne

tip: make a large batch and freeze in individual servings. In the morning let it thaw just a bit and then wiz through the blender for a few seconds. Perfect after a #workout
1 green apple, sliced
2 kiwis, peeled
1 cup mixed greens (spinach, arugula, kale)
1 tbsp fresh ginger, pealed
1 handful mint
2 cups fresh apple juice
1 cup ice if desired
Blend juice and greens first. Pulverize them so no chunks remain 😆 Add remaining ingredients and blend thoroughly. Enjoy 💚
You guys. Yesterday I went to @cafezupas
and I had a freaking delicious California Protein Cobb salad with braised turkey- I'm not kidding or exaggerating when I say how delicious this meat was and not a skimpy portion either. Also, I had a caramel brownie. Because balance. I'll put the salad in my story but the brownie here because JUST LOOK AT IT.
When it comes to toast, two is always better than one 🙌 baked some local sourdough with peanut butter at 350 for about 10 minutes until it was nice and toasty + topped it with banana slices, peaches, Manuka honey, bee pollen, @salbachia

Check out this gigantic mermaid themed cake, big enough to feed a whole ocean of fish! This two-tiered beauty was special to us, because it was created for the daughter of a good friend who we’ve known since the early days of art classes together in college!
When beginning this swimmingly sinful sweet, we felt very much like a mermaid ourselves, where one definition states that a she is ‘a sea woman who chooses imagination over fear’. Leaving our worries on land, we dove right into creating the bottom layer, which was comprised of funfetti cake with vanilla buttercream, and top layer, our signature chocolate blackout cake, also with vanilla buttercream. The bottom tier was piped to look like fish scales in an ombré style color pallet, and the top depicted sea coral with various colors & sizes of dragees for the ocean floor. On top we used crushed rock candy, sprinkles, and amazing lollipop sticks to complete our mermaid theme. The whole cake even received a dusting of edible glitter so it had some serious sparkle and shine in the light!
