This process of waiting makes me feel crazy sometimes! We are literally waiting to wait right now, waiting on the plot plan, so we can file for permits, and then we will have to wait for permits before we can start building. I KNOW in this season God has much to teach me about patience, and I hope I learn quickly. 😅 #saystheimpatientperson
I was praying about this (again) a couple mornings ago, and sure enough I came across this verse from Hebrews 10:36 - “Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.” Okay, God, I’m listening!! 🙈 It made me think of this picture I had taken several weeks ago out at the farm. There are acres of cornfields there right now, and when we were there last I saw several stalks with this gorgeous pink cornsilk! But this corn did not grow overnight, it is the result of time. Fruit does not appear overnight, neither on the plant nor in our lives. Patience is one of the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5), one that takes time to cultivate, just like this beautiful corn. So patience I must learn, there is no better season than now, right?!
