Here's a true story and there's probably a moral or two in there somewhere.
Months ago I bought a skirt from @kemitelford
and it's one of my favourite items. It's unlike anything else I own and it evokes the sensation of dressing up as a child, when clothes are opulent and magical, like so many other things in childhood.
I live in Canada, and besides the brand itself, I also follow many lovely ladies in the UK whose sense of style inspires me and pushes me to explore and broaden my own boundaries and many of these ladies are devoted Kemi Telford fans (@the.thistle.edit
come to mind). As a result my feed is always beautifully interlaced with Kemi Telford references.
Here's the funny part. Because of all these connections, I'm hyper aware of every new skirt, dress and shirt that come out and have been stalking the brand's website, usually several times a day (Yvonne - if you see multiple daily entries from Toronto, I'd like to take credit for them, but I'm sure you have a few other fans 😉). So why has it taken me months to decide on my next purchase? Everything is so beautiful! I've watched my children at the toy store and I liyerally assume that state, wait too long and the skirts often sell out. As they restock something newer and even more breathtaking comes up and I'm at at square (which) one (?). Moral 1: you snooze you lose. Moral 2: good things come to those who wait. See picture.
Happy weekend and lots of love to my inspiring ladies!
