Cheers to the weekend! It’s Friday and here’s what I’m planning: I haven’t seen the last two seasons of Suits (I know!)
I guess I just started season 1 three weeks ago.
How are your weekend plans shaping up? Photo: @morganmariephoto
Do you ever have so many words floating around and you can't even complete a sentence?
Please tell me I'm not alone! So much I want to share but for now I'm emercing myself in painting my entire house!
Because why not!
The older I get the faster days fly by.
We are at the midway point of 2018 and as cliché as it is ... that means we still have the same amount of time left.
Six months from now were are going to be entering 2019, what are you going to remember from July-December? Either regret or happiness .... I say mine with be a bit of both. I always like to leave room to grow 😉

Sometimes life throws your curveballs and you have to make them straight.
When working with beauty it is only natural that an editorial shoot is, well beautiful. As soon as it is featured I can share them all.
'WOW! These photos are GORGEOUS.
I am so impressed. The dresses, the model, the setting, the photographer - honestly, everything is absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing them with me. Great work, these are just superb!'
, thank you.

What would you tell yourself if you had the chance to go back 10 years?
In 2008, I was diving from one career into another. I wish I could go back in time and tell that then-years-ago self that you will never find your true passion in someone else's eye. Spend some time and get comfortable with yourself as your own source of validation.
I learned that lesson eventually, but think of the time I'd have saved! What would you say?
I'm a very monochrome person but I'm not afraid colors and the color pink is definitely one of my favorites .. it can make a woman look happy and prettiest of all , a man secure and strong .. and I believe it is THE COLOR OF INDIA !
And to me it has always been a colour of hope .. like there's some fantastic miracle lurking around .. after all in the words of Ms. Hepburn " I believe in pink "
And here my belle fabulously bringing out all those emotions just like the joyous artisans who made it .

Sometimes it's a little awkward to introduce myself on Instagram, but this is our chance to get to know each other better.
Since we're talking about awkward things, as a kid I used to write a newsletter that I sent to my siblings so they used to know what was going on. In our own home. Which is so weird right?
But I can admit that as an adult that strange (yet endearing) quality helps me as an editorial stylist with my ability to connect people.
I have the ability to let friends and clients know what is going on in their world and connect for dinner or finding your ideal client.
Now it's your turn, I'd love to hear an awkward childhood moment, so I don't feel all alone here on Instagram.
Is it wrong to say THANK YOU on Instagram? If it is I don't want to be right!
I need to express appreciation for three reasons: 1. You're taking the time to read this; 2. I just finished catching up with email; and 3. You're here to support my journey.
Without YOU, my business wouldn't be the same. So, thanks. Really.
Thank you for your creative contributions in the 2018 @weddingstar
magazine. You made our products shine in "Shower her Pretty".
Looking forward to any future collaborations you may have in mind.
Thank you so much Stephanie. I love representing brands like yours.
Connections are my thing. As a brand, do you love connecting with your ideal clients?
What about (especially in the wedding industry) letting your brides know the person behind the brand? What she will feel like wearing your dress on her special day?
Seeing those earrings that she just can't get married without. The ad that she saw them in spoke to her so much that she can't get married without them.
That is what I do. Whether styling/producing a small editorial shoot or a full ad campaign it will be the perfect vision for your brand and your ideal bride.
Let's get started!
Let's play a game. Take stock, right now, of 3 things you are grateful for. Feel free to elaborate or keep it super simple. Here are mine:
My sexy husband and precious son (I know that is two things but hey, it's my game so I make the rules), marble phone cases and Amazon Prime free delivery in 2 days.
It doesn't matter how big or little, but share your list in the comments below.
Time for confession/addiction. During the summer we always pick a show that we haven't watched and binge however many seasons there are.
First this year is Suits and I promise it has nothing to do with Meghan Markle. Just kidding. Maybe.
On the hunt for our next show and I'm pretty certain you have the perfect one to binge, so spill!
On tired days or when the odds are stacked against me, I think of Chad. He inspires me to keep pushing forward because he knows I'm doing what I love.
There's a piece of me that wants to show his belief in me to become an editorial stylist was well worth all the tears (mine), financial investment, support and time.
I'm demanding, unrealistic, spontaneous, don't take no for an answer kinda wife. I need 8 farm wood tables built for my bride ... I need an arch made out of copper pipe and can you do it tonight ... I have this perfect but impossible vision can you make it happen, k thanks!
My favorite thing to say is "don't worry, Chad will make it work" because I know he can.
Who inspires you to keep pushing forward?

An ode to my desk: Oh desk, thank you for your constant support (literally).
I know I should keep you cleaner most days, and I shouldn't leave empty cups of coffee on you, but I know you'll forgive me. Why??
We create magic together. Our clients love our designs, but it wouldn't be possible without spending endless hours with you.
Connecting people is what I do. Wether it be friendships or business referrals there is just something about brining people together that I can't get enough of.
One of my connections is between wedding industry brands to their ideal bride. Adding small but meaningful details to fully showcase and explain the wedding gown designer is my favorite.
Brands are as much about the people behind as they are about the product. On such an intimate day, it's so important for brides to be able to fully connect with their vendor.
And that's where I come in! I have been known to make love connections too, so if you are single watch out!
Fly me to the moon, let me play among the stars, Let me see what Spring is like, on Jupiter and Mars.
Sneak peak into a recent editorial shoot I was honored to design. To me, the research prior is just as important.
's beautiful Fall 2018 collection is named Celestial Dream. A moon, clouds and a star gazer were added for that signature touch that I always leave.
One of the many reasons my clients enjoy working with me. I not only get the best vendors to represent your brand but I always go above and beyond.

Dear customer: can I share a secret with you? Can I explain why I spend endless hours working on my craft?
Because I LOVE it. I love the joy that I get to see on my bride's face and the feeling of gratitude that she let me in on the journey.
I spend hours pouring myself into my work because I love it ... and I love making you happy.
Today is @annaloykilgus
birthday and I couldn't be more excited for her and what the future holds for Mr. + Mrs. Kilgus.
P.S. her beautiful wedding is getting featured in the next issue of @southernbridemagazine

Confession: mixed tapes are my favorite. Does that tell my age? Please tell me I'm not alone.
What can I say? I'm a sucker for hand made gifts and Chad was the best with his selections.
But I need a new soundtrack for long days spent in the office chatting with magazines about editorials. 🧚🏻♂️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What are you listening to these days that fits that bill?
Hey there Instafam! Some of you know me well, and others are a bit newer to the party (welcome, by the way)!
Every now and again I like to use a post just to remind my followers exactly what it is I’m doing here. I’m a native from England, currently residing in Bowling Green, KY.
I began planning events with my mom when I was 5 with the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana.
Years later, Leona Morelock Designs was born, and I have married my passion to my purpose, helping amazing couples celebrate the wedding of their dreams.
Since, I have been featured in numerous magazines and love the editorial work that has come from that. Connecting fantastic brands in the wedding industry to their perfect bride is another passion.
