Chin ups! I know four doesn’t seem like much, but just a month ago I was able to do my first ever. That’s 400% increase right there. I always felt really Lane for bot being able to do these, so actually getting there felt extremely empowering and encouraging. Hopefully ill make it past four eventuelt though. . . Your legs will be fried and you won’t have to use as much weight to get the job done. Try using this technique on leg press, hack squats and RDLs. 💥Happy hump, lumps and bumps day 💥 I was in a complete all out bulk about a week ago and my weight was sitting at 115kg but with the hot and clammy weather has really made it difficult hitting the massive amount of 5,500 cals I was eating to put on size . Playing with mirror mode cuz I can📀So let me just say....no I did not lose all my muscle in the 1.5 years I was high raw fruit based. But I did lose quite a bit that I had built up in the 4 years plant based Whole Foods vegan before raw. What I was noticing was my muscles did not POP like they used to (hello I was taking in no complex carbs which are the body’s preferred source of glycogen). I also was taking in maybe 30g of protein a day from fruit. That’s pretty dang low. It’s only been about a week and half with Big salads, boiled veggies, lentils and sweet potatoes coming back in with decreased amount of fruit. No more 10 mango dinners or 1 1/2 watermelons a day. Like I said in my last post, low protein,low fat,fruit diet has its place for epic cleansing, but it all depends on what ones goals are. And constant detox is not mine. And also, some people just cannot handle the sugars! So no, im up out of the hole that is easy to be sucked too deep down in to. One diet is not end all be all. Nor is a style of fasting. I still fast daily until primarily 4pm, done by 9 or so. In the last week and half with just this change to my intake (research nutritarian from Dr Fuhrman) Whole Foods plant based, still daily fasting and consistent weight training with cardio after, I can already see differences. Muscles are starting to pop again, veins coming out more and more, stomach leaning out. And I happen to think that lean, athletic, feminine look is very attractive and I strive to obtain it and show others what is possible when they say no to eating dead animals and eat the nutrient dense,high fiber Whole Foods from the Earth! And more power to the raw foodists out there! Y’all doing great! Keep it up! Today was a great #legday . I need to preface this video with saying that thanks to sciatica pain, I have not done proper squats in over 6 months, and I’m literally rebuilding from scratch. I’m trying to get back to my old weight, but safely, without disrupting the sciatica which can set me back weeks. It really tough living with sciatic pain, cause my low back can’t match my leg strength. I started with some stability drills on the #bosuball with a band, then went to various squat exercises, to weighted Bulgarian split squats and ended with a lot of heavy sleds like it’s winter time. Intermittent fasting (IF) is something I've done naturally since I was a re-teen. I was never a fan of eating early in the early morning or late evening. Haven’t posted anything body shot wise in a while! Just noticed that I’m starting to get more muscular, so thank you crossfit 🙌🏼 I still haven’t lost weight but, that’s because I haven’t stuck to an eating plan consistently yet! Part of bullemia is that your brain is CONSTANTLY obsessing about diets and food... it’s actually very annoying because you can’t focus on anything else! Just got myself a new job for the summer so happy to say I can get myself into some sort of routine again! Also, I’m going to be poor af for the summer so no money for food and having to eat what’s in the house... the only eating plan I can do therefore will be slimming world. I can’t go to groups because I’m poor 😂😂 so just doing it from home. I’ll weigh monthly, not weekly. I’m starting to feel more body confident and not give a damn, which is very freeing ! Last night I over ate a little bit but, instead of purging I just said no, I’m fine to be full, it’s normal. So that’s a breakthrough and I’m winning! Blue skies, sun, and temps in the low 60’s .... my kinda summer! 🙌🙌🙌 30 minute walk on the track this morning for fresh air and to get these old lady bones loosened up a bit before deadlifts. Gym session included sumo deadlifts, conventional deadlifts, deficit deadlifts, rack pulls, wide lat pulldowns, and close grip lat pulldowns. Hit a 25-pound PR on my rack pulls for a 445-pound pull! Stoked! Also - I’m in a fasted keto state. 😬👍😳 Great way to kickoff this week!
One of the biggest lessons I have learned on this path is that only when you are consistent over time can you really hold space for yourself to grow. Consistent focus on the vision overtime will allow you to build something that won't just breakdown or fall apart overnight. See everyone is looking for the big secret that's going to make them change , make them grow, and make them successful. Hard work is everything , you must sacrifice and invest sweat,time, energy, and do the work that no one else wants to do. Having a vision that fires you up and gravitates you everyday towards the actions and sequences that will align you with your goals. This is the real knowledge , you will run out of physical will power but your vision must be so solid in your mind, that it will magnetize and anchor you towards another frequency that will allow you to tap in to your spirit. You must convince yourself that you are great before you even become great, and you must know that you are ultimately the sum of your thoughts and actions. Everyone is afraid of solitude but this is where the real magic happens, this is where you go within and do the inner work.
