Monday Motivation! Today is DAY#1
of the LIIFT4 workout program, and it was a really good workout! We focused on chest & triceps for strength, we did some HIIT moves, core work & stretching. Here is a look into just a few of the exercises. There were 3 chest moves, 3 triceps moves, 3 HIIT moves, 2 core and a few stretches. What a great way to start the morning, and it only took me 39 minutes 😃👍🏻💪🏻
Literally sweatin off my nose! Let me say today is Monday. Blahhhh. Who wants to workout?! I had a million excuses and ya know what? IM DONE NEGOTIATING WITH MYSELF! Done saying “I’ll do it later” “tomorrow will be another day”. Instead I got in what I could and now running a hot mess to a LIVE training at 10 for my week 4 gang! Get yours in! One of the biggest lessons I have learned on this path is that only when you are consistent over time can you really hold space for yourself to grow. Consistent focus on the vision overtime will allow you to build something that won't just breakdown or fall apart overnight. See everyone is looking for the big secret that's going to make them change , make them grow, and make them successful. Hard work is everything , you must sacrifice and invest sweat,time, energy, and do the work that no one else wants to do. Having a vision that fires you up and gravitates you everyday towards the actions and sequences that will align you with your goals. This is the real knowledge , you will run out of physical will power but your vision must be so solid in your mind, that it will magnetize and anchor you towards another frequency that will allow you to tap in to your spirit. You must convince yourself that you are great before you even become great, and you must know that you are ultimately the sum of your thoughts and actions. Everyone is afraid of solitude but this is where the real magic happens, this is where you go within and do the inner work. Most are scared because they don't know what they want , once you decide you want it, nothing can stop you, only the limitations you withhold in your mind💯

She has me beat in strength, I've got her in speed and we both KICK FREIKEN ASS AT ENDURANCE!!!!! Endurance is where it's at for me in this fitness game! Endurance is those make it or break it, quit or go for it type of moments. Endurance is how long you can push past your limits, how many times you tell yourself to suck it up without failing and what shows you have the guts and the drive to get the job done. Endurance is where the HIGH is!!! And trust me that the HIGH feels soooooooo dang good!!! Me and this woman have got endurance for days and I loved our workout today!!! We did two rounds of the top of the board and 4 rounds of the bottom of the board. I tell you this, I never wanted to quit but this workout gave me a run for my money!!! And I don't mind bragging that I did another 2 mile run on top of this and 60 minutes on my bike at home (there was a late night vanilla wafer incident that I had to make up for 😇) So here is my best advice to those who want to hear it- Go ahead and build up your endurance on the field, in the gym, with home workouts, or however you fitness!! Build up your endurance for fitness and that same endurance will stick with you in every other area of your life (thru stress, at work, in the bedroom.....) Go make you some and watch it grow. Keep pushing. Destroyed my legs, core and arms today! Loved my full body circuit from my girl @muncher_cruncher.
Back in 2014 I enlisted Megan to help me get back into shape. She put together a plan for me. To this day I still love her workouts. She is extremely knowledgeable. And honestly, as someone who has to prep other people’s workouts all the time, I like when the workout is done for me.
Today was 2 circuits. Total Body Conditioning:
10 reps reverse lunge w/ row
15 push-ups to squat w/ bicep curls
15 sumo squats with hip back
8 single leg pushups Performed 3 rounds and use 20 lb weights and a 50 lb for the sumo squats
10 sumo squat single arm high rows (per side)
15 push-up plank tricep kick backs
10 curtsy squats with a bicep curl (per side)
10 reverse lunges (per side)
10 single leg squats
10 single leg dead lifts
Used a 20 lb weight for all the single leg work and (2) 10 lb weights for the tricep work. Did 2 total rounds as I was running out of time.
