*~TAKING A BREAK FROM YOUR CURRENT RADIO SILENCE TO TALK ABOUT BODY FAT~*
I’ve been seeing and reading articles on the internet about the FUPA. Being the ‘not-in-the-know’ person I am, I actually had to Google the term. According to Urban Dictionary, it stands for ‘fat upper pubic area.’ I heard Beyonce used the term in her latest cover of Vogue. This type of fat, which I believe everyone has to some extent, should be put out there more frequently, regardless if a celebrity says it (praise Queen Bey). Fat is real. Fat is natural. Fat exists.
Now I know it’s hard for a lot of you get used to fat being everywhere online or on your own body. No amount of poses, clothes, or photo altering apps and programs can truly hide all of the fat from world. In the minimalist social community, I do not see many fat women or men. I’m not sure if I’m looking in the right places. This community is unique but I would love to see more body positivity and diversity. We can still have this type of lifestyle and be fat! Fat is capable and universal. ————————————————————-
Shoutout to all the FUPA wearing men and women, no matter how big or small your FUPA is! My FUPA welcomes you. Thank you to @fatgirlsclubpodcast @fatgirlflow
and other social media fat girls for putting these thoughts out there and to help me write this post.
